This has just came out from SE. Its an accessaory to plug into certain models of SE phones (e.g K530i, W660i etc etc) and making them GPS enabled. Ive went to Wisma level 4 Sony shop and found that it cost S$128/=. Do read up :-

Here's the question. Anybody noes the details of how it works (e.g. GPS you only hear the voice or the maps can be seen on the screen) . The charges if it is free etc etc. would appreciate if any owner shed a light on the matter.

Neat cool stuff.

The question is, would this require a special application from SE to use the GPS module? Or we have to buy our own TomToms or similar GPS-based software?

That I do not know also. Was hoping anyone to share the knowledge....

If SE does not goes into GPS business, it will lose out to Nokia and Samsung big time.

All new touch screen phones has this features. They are flooding the phone market with GPS.
