some cheap ones like mikuku, yss, showa, monza are cosmetics, the better and more expensive ones like F1 Racing actually have nitrogen gas inside .

YSS & SHOWA piggyback cannisters are for cosmetic purpose ??

U sure ??

i have no prove about YSS and Showa.

But i have seen myself a Monza absorber with the canister broken off on a bike, accident ler. Its just a solid metal connecting to the canister, the absorber still works like normal . I saw this at sentul, KL where the boss show it to me as the bike is undergoing repairs

i have played around with a few

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a235/royalemy/photo_159-1.jpg

ten strike , basically same as the old Mito-X design absorber, works very well

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a235/royalemy/CameraFX26.jpg

F1 Racing , still using these, its the best i could find. The funny thing is, in the KL motorshow this year, i saw the same one installed on the Modenas kristar cubprix bike . Hahahahaaa, its tat damn good

http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a235/royalemy/photo_163.jpg

Mito-X , i must say, the new Mito-X absorbers are really not up to my expectations. They do sell very good products like their sportrims and very good absorbers, but the newer ones are really not good . Haiiihhhh, dissapointing .

There is one more, a Yoshi

totally rubbish, the damping is hard as rock, sold it as soon as i could

still haven't tried any gas monoshocks since i got my spark .

But a fren of mine oledi fit one, next time can ask him to let me test ride .

They even make USD forks with gas canister for spark 135 nowadays, amazing, i couldn't believe my eyes when i saw it myself .

like the new R6 . hahahahaaaa

This life-long search is gonna drive me insane

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?

Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?

Where is this beautiful girl?Who is she? Who is she?

eeerrrrr, u wanna come to KL and buy ?

Hahahaaaa, i get these stuff in KL .

But the price can tell u lar .

The old version of Mito-X, cost RM160 last time, these were very good performing absorbers . The Ten Strike onli Rm130, its the same absorber just different brand name .

But now u will see a lot of pirated Mito-X absorbers, also sportrims, so be warned.

The one i show u is actually considered old fashion already, its cheap, about Rm90 .

The new mito-x absorbers now have the canisters connected to a hose .

F1 Racing, very hard to find, in city central KL onli got one accesories shop got sell . The price RM135

Just take the measurement of your stock absorbers in milimeters, then bring along your measuring tape and go to shop and look for a good one with the same length . Never trust anyone tat sell u the absorber tat it will be the same length, measure ur self .

MERGED THREAD

Topic : YSS or Gazi suspension

Description : Nil

********************************************************************

What is the length of the original suspension on Spark 135 and compare to YSS and Gazi suspension, which is longer and by how much??

Can we extend our original suspension by adding brackets or washers (heard from someone possible).

Anyone got any idea, please share. Thanks.

i dun think its a good idea to put bracket or washer...cos firstly not safety 2nd not stable...

as for the length if i'm not wrong after market shocks are shorter..

for more info u can ask stroker or niterider..

cheers

Is not advisable to extend your original shock as what skazuz said is not safe and the original shock damping is soft. Better change to aftermarket shock with height adjuster just like YSS or other brand which i not sure... Gazi for spark is without height adjuster if i'm not wrong. Correct me if i'm wrong. Cheers! :cheer: :cheer:
