Hi everyone! I have been riding for a year now and next week I can register for my class 2A.

Currently I am riding a HONDA CBR150.

Would it be better for me to just stick to 2b bike or get a 2a bike?

Initially I thought of getting 2a license and get super4 coz many ppl say super4 is a good 2a bike but recently some of my friends say just stick to 2b bike.

What i look for in a bike is normally speed and comfort as i am always rushing from point to point and i dont really know much about bikes or mechanics so low maintenance would be good too.. My current speed of my honda cbr150 is normally 120km/h which personally i dont think is fast enough..lol.

Any advise please..? Should i change to a different 2b bike or shud i get a 2a bike..?

I think you miss out on a good 2A bike. Honda CBR250R. good FC 27km/L and even more. and better power output compare to 2b bikes.

Looks nice too, your ride will be much more exciting every day

i prefer non-vtec version for honda like Version S because stable power when throttle. V-tec dun really save fuel zzzz fail-concept. singaporean is like this, everyone follow blinding and believe. people really know about bike prefer pure power from version-s, or maybe gsr400. opening two 2 cylinders make u need high rpm to go faster rather than low rpm with 4 cylinders.

Be happy for what you have =D

With 2A bikes, don't think of hitting 30km/l, not even with a bone stock DRZ, it is possible with the CBR250 though.

There is no best bike. Period. Unless its a transforming one.

There is however the best for their function.

Your logic is flawed, 2 cylinders have more low end torque, 4 cylinders are biased towards top end and are more high revving.

V-tec doesn't do much, maybe give more useable power on low end but top end about the same.

Suzuki Impulse!

i get about 24-27 depending on riding mood. good luck trying to find it though.

stick to s4 version s and before. those without vtec should be rather good. just make sure tuning is proper.

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

I get 20km/l usually, then again I go high rev often, well I have to, must remember bike is still only 400cc.

People keep talking about pick up when it comes to V-tec, I keep up with V-tecs, even overtake them just fine with an old Ver S.

CRF250L Honda Siamese @ 35km/litre. Small tank though @ 7.7litre.

Usually hit 200km before hitting reserve.. Much better than my previous scooter SYM150 fighter that can only give me about 28-30km/litre..
