Good and bad is just the difference between perceptions.

eh... can't find info for tyre pressure for spec 1. Is it same as Version S? Front 200 Rear 250? Or more? Search liao no hits leh... Newbie Super4 rider...

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

Hi Pplater,

for a start you may look here for more info. Click me

juz for your info, i can't be sure for version S but for sure all vtec according to manual will be 225 front, 250 rear (without pillion) or 250 front, 290 rear (with pillion) however that are also some discussion on this. will update if i saw it.

ride safe.

Hi Simpleme,

Thanks for providing the link and info. I actually read the link but could not find the tyre pressure specifications. Maybe it was in one of the later pages which I overlooked. However, the shop directory link on the page you gave me is invalid. I guess some of the things are outdated? Pumped up my tyres to 250 and 290 liao. :thumb:

hi Pplater,

Apologies for the link not valid. But it is quite beyond me. as after the server migration the path has all changed.

Super4 Vtech top speed on slight upslope 160 and slight downslope 170 normal? Had a top box. I suspect on straight without slope around 160+km/h. Heard change sprocket ratio can sacrifice pick up for top end. How to else to improve the top end without changing exhaust full systems? As i go touring, i'm thinking that if my top end improved to 180 190, its less siong on the bike to cruise at 150 160, rather than my top end 160 170 and i cruise long distance at 150 160. Almost finished the whole troubleshoot s4 thread liao, doing homework on the bike. Have not came across this info so asking here. Thanks bros. OUr bike rocks!!!

hi Pplater,

may i know what is your model. it has been proven that only spec 3 with box and pillon able to go up to 190km/h. (not adviseable) for the rest, eg spec 2 or 1, only pillon can only go up to 170km/h.

for super 4, i would like to advise you to cruise at 140km/h as if there is any need you have that extra power to overtake.

else you may go for a carb wash and tuning to improve the bike performance.

do remember touring, you do not need to travel too fast. enjoying the ride is more impt.

ride safe.

Good Day All,

I'm new here. Sorry if i post the wrong forums. Would like to enquire S4 Spec III can fix with security system (alarm)? And where is the best deal for fixing. Thanks for ur advice.

My is Vtech 1. So i suppose its normal ba my bike. Thanks for the advise simpleme. Eh... cause ah... NSH the whole stretch very long and sometimes if nobody 150 160 not a problem ma. Only the rear a little shaky if the road just bends a little bit and have to lean just a little bit. Lol... Thanks anyway. Sprocket ratios not advisable?
