ani1 can tell me how to deal with a person who have no cash to settle his installment but selling bike ? cos from what i know is that he need to settle his installment den wait for a day to get the log card den can transfer ownership.. so this guy is telling me to pass him the cash to settle his installment after that he settle it den we transfer the ownership the next day when the log card is done.. ani1 got any idea how to deal n get everything done in 1day ? sorry i don really noe where to post this thread so i post it here.. i'll appreciate ur help.. thanks alot

Simple...

 

Meet the owner at his bikeshop...

 

Get the boss to sit down together. Tell the boss the situation and tell him to do the transfer of ownership to you (but need to pay an amount for it).

 

Settle the money with the owner and make sure the owner settle the remaining loan (you can confirm with the boss).

 

Take the keys from the owner and wait for the bikeshop to do the transfer on your behalf which usually takes a day or two...

go down to bikeshop w/ bike seller

bring out the cash & clear the remaining installments + get the ownership transfer done by the bikeshop

 

2 possible issues here:

1. some shops impose early settlement fee for clearing installments earlier

2. u incur some admin costs for getting the shop to do the ownership transfer instead of doing it on yr own

u dun realli nd the log card as it nw electronic(jus print online).....

Jus go with the seller to his bike shop and settle the remainin amount then ask the shop to release the bike frm it hire purchase....

Once it is release move on to LTA to trf the name and the BIKE is nw ur to ride.....

But before transfer of name @ LTA u nd to get ur insurance 1st(get it done a day before and tell them the insurance to start on the day of trf the BEST )

 

Lastly is to ask the bike shop for watever it still holdin onto like key etc......

Yes u can but u need to pay the balance installments dat u have.
