Asking on behalf of my friend , he is a despatch rider and is NOT very familiar with Singapore routE

1) How can one know Singapore road easily?

2)is there any short cut where he can learn fast?

3) Using GPS gadget, is it feasible? is there charges using GPS?

The GPS is your best bet on the road.

The only expense is the GPS itself, using it is free.

For Garmin GPS, you can enter the address, it will work out a route from your current location to your destination based on your selection of

a. Shortest Route, or fastest route

b. By Foot, or by Car

It's quite a common gadget in cabs now.

well, my dad is a despatch and he kinda suck at directions too.. he'll be calling my momma for directions every other hour. till his lovely daughter save him (lovely daughter= mua!!)

got him a PDA. installed it with streetdirectory for PDA. and voila.. calls reduced... cept for that occasional "wats cooking" calls now.

hope tt helps

and anyway.. i think GPS is free when u buy a unit by itself. If u buy those GPS phones, they actually charge u like using the internet/wap on ur phone. It's not so costly, but it'll cost.. aight
