I just got mine last week at $4K - I already standby and put aside $1K on servicing and repairs. In the last meet-up we had, the bros in this group were very motivating and knowledgeable. The experience sharing was abundant and I was also impressed by Dr Deauville AKA more1978

Bring a torchlight and mini tool box. Join the group on next meet up, you will not regret - I know I didn't. I just got my deauville last week and learnt abundant just on my first meet with the group.

Taking Bros advise,

I went to Braddel road to fix my coolent.

True enough ! There are 2 coolent containers and sad to find the coolent were of bad shape.

It was dirty and brown!

Flushed the coolent system and fill in with "Engine Ice". Replace all water elements with coolent liquid.

Total wreck: $55

Hope you input Nonsilicate antifreeze coolent...because Ordinary antifreeze contains tiny silicate particles which accelerate wear between the two ceramic faces of the mechanical seal, causing premature failure.

1st Big welcome to deauville@sg.

1,)Top speed is 190km, only after you done up your bike, but 120 -150 is a good and comfortable ride (only out to Malaysia NSHW......... DON'T try it at Singapore ).

2,) first find out what has they done on the bike before you take over the bike, if not just do a full service, change all oil, coolent .......... ask our Dr for more info, (if you can join our meet up.)

3,) no need, and also don't have any gauge, just play with the meter and use reserve as at guide, if every think ok, one full tank can go 300km+/- so just top up before reserve, or around 250km+/- .

Thank you

Firstly, congratulations!

rough gear shift in my experience in other bikes is usually engine oil. But again can also be the gears are worn out.

Cheers

So you manage to get your dream box for your Birthday Bike?

Dear All,

Our deauville engine oil should be using 10w40. I had tried to use 15w50 but the engine sound was not smooth and having more RPM on trottle during acceralation. Bad experience using 15w50. I would recommend using on 10w40 for better performance.

好车用好油呀!省了油钱以后可要准备好修理车的钱。

Aiya... Let me explain More1978 toking about:

Good Bike must use good oil! Budget on oil usage, will let you pay the huge price on repairing the bike in the future.
