I don't think still have any new bike in the market, if I am not wrong the 2nd last unit has sold off 09 oct, and the very last unit sold at 19k+ at dec09, if you want to buy new you may need to order in, BTW there is one unit of 2nd hand 07 NT700 Gray at sin boon motor

Yeow Motor @ amk does very good spraypaint job, boss is friendly & great workmanship.

it takes him 1 week to get the job done... price wise u gotta bring ur bike to his place to qoute. juz a rough guide i sprayed 2 colors on my 125z at $400+

Just resprayed mine at HL Cycle for $750 including rims.

 

They couldn't match the original Tasmanian Green and ended up with a different shade of green - a bit flat and lighter shade. Was very disappointed with the colour at first but got used to it after a while.

 

Took more than 2 weeks to complete. There was some bleeding on the underside of the front cowling. First time went back to collect, there was a new crack on the right side faring, part of the grill under the headlights was broken off and missing and they forgot to respray the top box. Went back 2 days later in the afternoon, but the parts were sprayed but not assembled on the bike. had to wait almost 2 hours for them to put everything back:dozed:.

 

When I took it in there was some crack on the left side faring as someone had reversed their car into my bike and it fell over. The mechanics made a few more cracks on the front fairing while preparing the part for respray. They said that the fairing was brittle from being old and under the sun. They managed to repair all cracks but on careful inspection, can still see some lines under the paint. All sprayed parts are air dried.

 

Might be better if you go to a workshop with an oven or a professional spray paint workshop instead of a general motorcycle workshop.

 

When I resprayed my car bumper, the quality is like factory standard.

 

OK if you don't mind not having back original colour. The manager, Freddy was very accommodating, but the workmanship a bit shoddy.

 

Breakdown of cost:

 

Refibre of cracked fairing: $ 50

Rims: $120

Topbox: $ 50

Pannier covers left & right: $100

Fairing,fuel tank,fender, etc: $430

Total= $750

 

Changed coolant, flush and replace with wetter water: $55

Service. change shaft oil change, 4L engine oil and filter change: $125

 

Discount for package: $37

 

Total damage: $893

Ya agree with wat rayyim say, dats y whenever i wanna "change clothes" for my bike i will send her to a shop dat oni specialize in spray paintin & not repair wkshop cum spraypaint.

 

I knw many wkshop will dismantle ur fairrins and then send to dunno which ah chee pa lia shop to get it sprayed.

happy national day!

deauville 650 bike only weakness is fairing very easy break, not because of sun burn and many years, new deauville 650 also same, so if u want to send your deauville 650 to workshop, better looking 4 the more experience of repair deauville bike.

but most of the experienced deauville workshop's charges not cheap, so if u can and interest of DIY your bike, it's may good idea to make fan, save $, and better quality...
