Maybe I bring my tools so can adjust TPS to decrease the jerkiness when you throttle on. I think once and for all to eliminate the 4.5k rpm. DIY again? heheheh

well i'm still alive and free from any mishaps(thank god for that). 130km/h dont try in singapore lar. or do so at ur own risk. but don't come and say you all never exceed 90km/h before lar right arzme? dont tell me PG the back straight you go 90km/h. PG Highway also 90km/h.. and our speedos are not 100% accurate anyway. so 100km/h is still ok. but whatever it is, i respect your opinion. just that i still feel that as i long as i can see the a pair of headlights and not many pairs on one car(my definition of non-fuzzy), i'm safe. if you want perfect mirrors, get super 4 mirrors like somebody mentioned. fugly but does the job. as for me, im happy wif my mirrors. its not a perfect bike, so to me the mirrors are something which i learn to make use of with what i'm given and not let the mirrors make use of me ie irritate me.

ehem!!! he, azrme is not like us who tends to speed in SG. In Pasir Gudang, we dont bother abt the mirrors images. PG Highway, he was NEVER the 1st bike or the last bike. furthermore, even in the highway, he still stick to speed limits. going to PG, he prefer not to be the 1st bike or the last bike. Going back, if we leave him behind, he also dont mind, coz he knows the way home, (org JB). and he is using the FUGLY S4 mirrors. To him, kalau boleh letak body size mirror, dia confirm letak nyer!! hahahaahahahaha (translation: if he's able to put a full size mirror on his bike, he will definitely do it!! hahahahahahahaha)

But what u mentioned abt the vibrations on certain RPM, i agreed.

still gonna try MINIMISE the vibrations! those who 100% dont want vibrations, dont turn on ur bike engine, confirm wont vibrate!

har har har... PG don't say lah.... on PG circuit u don't check mirror one, u check the person infront and the line that u will be taking... it is a BIG no no to check mirror when playing circuit. also at PG is the time tht u blast ur throttle since its is a track thus there is no TP hiding one corner to 'trap' u.

 

ah! what i have being trying to convey since the last few post is that to find as to what wrong with the stock mirror. i have tested S4 mirror on the GSR (yes i currently using them now) and they work fine. so i'm think is.... if i can modify the stock one to be good (or better like the S4), then its an 'improvement'. tht why we are here right? to share ideas or improvement 'project'.... and in betw the time, a friendly chit-chat.... and once awhile 'hot' debate... har har har

Yeah .... I stand with your words bro.... riding fast is a thrill. I still have youngsters blood flowing even though I am already catching up the age... but looking after fellow riders is the way to go! Nothing gay about caring and looking after fellow riders... unless you're constantly looking at their buttock while riding... hahaha.

i say 230km/h you believe? go find out yourself lar.. that's the best. some people say 180, some say 220. it all depends on the distance you have to try your top speed. so go try and have fun. but not in SG ah! you want to know your 0-100km/h, go and strap a videocam to your speedo. then playback, use the video timeline to see your 0-100km/h very accurately.

If you compare GSR400 with CB400... you need to know which Spec of CB400 you want. CB400 got so many Spec.... Spec 1(Big Boy).... Spec 2... Spec 3 and the latest CB400 REVO

 

The last time I bought my GSR .... the price of CB400 Revo is equivalent to the price GSR. The shop is situated at Bukit Merah... but I do advise you not to go there... I shall not bad mouth any of the shops there ... but hear around and you will know the reasons... *there are some other shops at Bukit Merah who are trustworthy... so if you live near there ... hunt around*

 

Price wise... most of us here will encourage you to be more hardworking to go down to the shop and ask. It's like killing two birds at one throw ... you get to see up close and feel up close the bike you're getting and secondly... ask as much questions about the bike(*Ask for a break down of bike price,coe, insurance, any free after purchase service, free goodies... etc) as possible from the dealer... if the dealer is half interested to tell you about the bike... then it's time to head to another dealer.

go to bike shop! must go to a brand new (display bike also can), S4 or GSR, then u touch them. touch anything u like on the bike... the handle, the headlight, the tank, the tyre, the chrom metal, the leather seat, the suspension, the chain, the sprocket, the cover, anything lah..... after that ask permission from shop owner to let u sit on the bike, if u get to sit on one, then play riding bike, action twisting the throttle then make the 'vroom, vroom' sound and bend ur head down like cutting wind..... tht where the VIBE will reach u.... by the end of the session, u will be enlighten as to which one u like best!

Consperm, last i tried to collect for u he quoted abt $350+. But the problem is that the price fluctuates dependant on the distributor GH. Hahahah...
