Hi all, would like to check something abouth this GSR 400:-

 

1) Fuel consumption? ??km/L

2) Maintance - is it expensive if compare with Honda spec 2/3?

 

Thinking to upgrade to this bike, hence hope collection information from GSR 400 user here.

gsr400 can go how many km per litres??

If you are talking about stock GSR400... it all depends on your riding style. If you are those who like to high rev your bike >7-8k travelling average at 90-100km/h like me, then it will be somewhere between 18-19 Litre per km. Some bros here have higher mileage up to 25km per litre.

Alarm system got many types... almost all bike alarm can be installed on GSR. Better ones are Scorpion(Bro EJ has it...), other brand like SPY(I am using) .. steelmate... and many more if you search at bike shop.

 

Placement are usually under the seat ... on top ECU. Secure with the rubber band of the ECU. Siren ... up to you to find a good location.

 

For Windshield, you can refer to page 1 of this thread. FYI, we do not have much of a selection ...

 

Before you ask... there is no street legal pipe yet... but others have installed GSR600 pipe onto their GSR400.. but it is not street legal.

 

As always... dun think about beauty and neglect about safety... install sliders first if you have not. In case of minor accident, it can save you a pretty much of money for repairs.

hahahaha... well sabar je la, till ur ready to ride again.... one thing about him is that u dont rush him abt when will the bike be ready...

 

the first time i went to his shop at 10am, he made me wait till 6.30pm just to service my bike. while waiting, i didnt even bother him about when he is going to do my bike... then from that moment onwards, everytime i come, my bike cut que. he do mine on the spot, if no parts are involved.

alarm installation: any bike shop will do but they tend to over charge in my opinion. its pretty easy to DIY, really. come down tomorrow if the outing is still on i'll give out some tips on how tos. as for windshield, the most common one is the ermax from motoworld. some go for Puig from regina but have to order first. cheers!

it'll be good if you can get saddle shutters instead. the thing to cover the gap when you take out the pillion grab rail.

Very very near fajar, my gsr is white, with a white predator facemask, so should quite noticeable when you spot me. Remb to wave! haha..
