Even after your run in ,if u r stuck in traffic light , it will also hit 97 as no moving air is cooling the fin of the radiator. If your bike is on the move, it shouldn't hit 97, if it hit ,something must be wrong somewhere.

 

yeah.. it reaches 97 when im stuck in traffic... but on moving around 80+ to 90... thanks!

 

just take note that ur coolant expansion tank shd not b below the lower limit else u need to top up. ur temp reach 97, the radiator fan got cut in anot? it shd cut in at 95 i think n cut out at 87 like that.

as long as ur bike is moving, not hitting 90+, its normal. if u r stuck in the traffic, temp tends to go up fast. n when the radiator kicks in, it means its working...

esp under the hot sun... temp soars up high. i still purposely let the temp goes up to c if the fan cuts in. but i try not to let the bike gets so hot...

hey guys.. ask another noob question huh... i now running in, is it normal for my temp be very high..? the highest i see for now is 97.. must i change to a better coolant?

If sunny day is normal lor... as long nite time u make sure dont see 86-90 oC can liao. u try to check on the petrol side see got any green water coming out or not. I worry u got the same problem like me.

U confirm is the fan meh? Cause our bike is new then when you ride until abt 80-90km got some sound coming out. after u change a few time E.O then i think no problems liao. The fan should kick in at 95-97 if once you start your bike then the fan runs that mean got problems liao.

Btw just want share that if anyone of u wanted to change the exhaust try to get titanium (like mine) or Carbon...

Titanium stronger than Carbon fiber... but hotter than Carbon Fiber...

Just make sure not to fall ur bike once u change exhaust or else...

Yesterday BH (Malay News Paper) point out that 15 to 20 big bikes loss every month... done by people who will dismantle the bike & export it to neighbour country by container... They push the bike with the front wheel lift up and carry it with a van... Bikes such as Busa, K1, K2, R1 & R6... Look like they aiming for track bike with good value... Pls be extra carefull... Recommandation... Lock ur rear disc brake... So they cant push... Good Luck!

Mayb is just the gear sensor problem. Send back to your bike shop asap.
