bought for $18. didn't bother to bargain as i was too lazy :cheeky:

i stay in cck... i wouldn't mind going to any location convenient for you if you can fix them up for me. i already got the wires and the spade connector thingies to connect to the relay.

if i plan to mount them under the tank near the engine will the horns melt?

i havent tried mounting under the tank before. but i fixed siko's horn near the radiator and so far, it's still in one shape. :)

splendid you already got the stuff. SMS me tomorrow (i'll PM you my number later) then i'll see if i'm free tomorrow evening.

now i got to redo my own bike wiring. its in a mess. haha

dear bros... our bike front brake pad where got sell ah>?? any idea>? thanks

i just got my rear brake pads changed this afternoon. the SBS ones i was using are worn out so no choice had to change them. i got it from Planet motors (thanks wildcard). brand is newfren, some italian brand. i noticed on the packing its actually meant for the GSX-R600 and 750 but it fit perfectly on our rear calipers.

i had ahchong checked my front brake pads as well. he told me still can use (note: i already changed my rear one twice). he did mention the front ones cost around $25 a pair. call him, planet motor: 67474740

you can get paddock stands from motoworld if i'm not wrong. there are 3 different stands, one for single swing arm and the other 2 are basically the same, for normal swingarm.

theres 2 different adaptors, there's one whereby you'll need the swingarm bobbins or sliders (noteL NOT axle) and the other one is just supporting the bottom of your swingarm.

i dont have any pics at the moment but you might want to check out the net. you'll be spoilt for choices.

Just to confirm.

You changed to K&N or just serviced your K&N filter?

ok, before i changed to K&N, i feel my bike like losing power, so i change a new K&N filter and better spark plug.

wat seems to be my problems????? will clear valve helps?

Well, that's the problem.

Changing to a free-flowing air-filter without proper compensation (aka tuning) will result in power loss.

Its the same effect as taking off airbox for those 2B bikers. You will gain more grunt on the lower & mid-range but lose top-end power.

Valve servicing a.k.a. clear valve is done only when the problem is apparent (knocking in the valve seat, etc).

My advice, bring it to Tachyon Motor. Ask Ah Tat to check your valve first (he'll most prolly use the long screwdriver method to listen to the valve in operation).

Otherwise, tell him your problem and that you just changed to a K&N. Ask him if need to retune. He has a Teka tool that can help reduce or eliminate the problem.

Its not a problem. Its a tradeoff.

Put it this way:

A stock bike from the factory, comes equipped with stock filter letting in air of, say, quantity A, is tuned to have an air-fuel ratio with air quantity of A.

When you change the value of A to, say, B, which is more than A due to a less-restrictive air filter. You've changed the air-fuel ratio.

Now, despite the belief, MOST EFI bikes do NOT compensate for the changes. Certain bikes dealing with higher emissions standards like the GSR600does compensate a bit but only to changes in the exhaust emission.

So that changes the peformance characteristics of the bike.

What can be done to alleviate the problem?

Re-tune it. Carb bikes often either simply retune the A/F ratio at the carb or do a proper, more precise rejet & retune.

EFI bikes makes it much easier to retune without having to rejet, as there is no needles involved.
