so far most are ok... on the frame side... today just notice abit came off liao.

 

 

 

not zippo lah...use those wind proof lighter lor. both side take u at least 6hrs. if u want to do..better do on your rest day.

mayb thats due to oily surface... try to clean the frame abit n use small pieces to stick the main piece back. if it peels, it will b non stop...

 

i took about 4 hours to complete the frame. both sides. i use the patching method more than the heating method...

btw, i enquired from bikelab, a penske rear shock cost $1.3k.

 

yes skateboy,we do have some springs for your bike

we can upgrade it to an emulator valves n also AK-20 fork cartridges with external preload adj n rebound adj.

we can custom a PENSKE SPORT SHOCK cost $1.3k come with preload,rebound n ride height adj.

must clean with soap water leh... must b oil free b4 sticking. but for now, just patch up using the remaining sticker. they r very useful when u need it.

best is to use hair dryer or hot air gun...using burning can degrade the stickers.

Yups... Thats the BIG PROB for me now... I know 1 shop do powder coating but i need to dissasemble & assemble back on my own.

 

VERY afraid if they mis something when assemble back... Tis a new bike as u said...

Technically there is one shop that can dismantle and reassemble back competently.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and risk the full wrath from Puffer. But since you're riding a 600, why not go back to Guan Hoe and get them to help dismantle the parts and store them while you get the frame powdercoated?

 

They should be competent enough to do it safely. I've seen the Malay kid there disassemble a GSR engine before.

Just a matter of how much to pay.

But I doubt it unless you got good contact in there. I used to have one.

Mah tends to only do bikes that are bought from them.
