oh... i get wat u r asking already... :D

well, this one i really dunno. normally, recommanded oil change for fully synthetic oil is 5k km. but different brand of oil breaks down differently. n of cos, sunny singapore, hot n humid, thinner oil of cos wun last n thicker oil will last longer. but still, i say this is subjective. when u feel the oil is not as smooth after sometime, u change it. thats about all.

thicker oil shd b able to last u to 5k km. thinner shd b able to last u 4k km. thats the time i change for the maxima ultra on my bike.

this is all by personal experience n feeling. no right or wrong though.

bro, for ur 600, i personally recommand thinner oil cos 600 is a high rev bike. thinner oil circulates faster n thicker oil slower. this is based on my 400. if this happen to my 400, it might b the same for ur 600.

had asked realdean about this issue oso. he oso said that thicker oil makes the bike heavy n its hard to ride at high speed. now that he changed to a thinner oil, think he's a happier man now. :D

all these r personal views. i hope everybody can contribute wat they had used n review on it so that we know which oil will b good on our rides. :thumb:

I will recommend thinner one. Ride such a new, big n powerful bike, end up use a thick EO which can't really feel the power of the bike, like tt must well ride a smaller bike unless ur bike is like 7-8yrs old le n never maintain well then u use the thicker EO.

If use thinner oil, i dun think can last till 5km unless u dun really revs ur bike if not abt 3.5km u won't really feel the full power of ur bike cos i quite often revs my bike.

Yups i agree with u... cause after 3k km the engine feel abit rough and not responsive...

Btw beside E.O fuel also play important part... I'm using Esso 98... quite smooth but less power compare to VPower which provide more power but less smooth....

Oh dear!

You used GoodFren.

My apologies to say this, but that's the worse brand I tried before.

Used it on my TLR. I can squeeze my brake lever until like want to break, my bike still moving.

The stopping power is crappy.

should have gotten newfren instead. much better IMO

rien d'autre que le max.

Just changed mine.

SBS Street pads.

$17 each. DIY. Buy at LAB.

Much better stopping power. But it generates quite a lot of dust.

Hey, how is the Kent ridge Park u say? Any news? :sian:
