my wife actually supports me on having a big bike (400cc big or not? haha). cos that trip to sheng shiong made me want to downgrade to a smaller bike solely for transport and get a fuel drinking Hummer H3 (ok, just a normal car. i'll be more realistic) to bring all the stuffs home.

 

but after some discussion, its a no go. as

 

1. i dont have a driving license

2. she has, but its a malaysian license

3. i'll end up buying a bigger bike as yishun to changi, i cannot stand 80km/h and being blown away by speeding lorry gangsters and rempiticons.

 

bro think twice before getting a car.. i've been down that road and it's not easy nor cheap. ended up downgrading to weekend car and bike as my main transportation. from the way they respond looks like u just got married anyway welcome to marriage life. like they always say it takes 2 to tango. so hope that u and ur wifey have a gud and happy marriage. cheers:thumb:

try the focused LED types, limbat has those for about $18 a pair IIRC.

 

cheaper alternative would be to stuff your wiping cloth or something in

between the gap.

 

The focused LED will only point to the front? Is it legal to get a red LED to fix it. I think it suits the bike.

hi guys. its been a long time i last posted something here. due to the absence of internet access at my new home (and i dont wish to go around piggy-back riding on unprotected Wlan networks), i can only access the forum when i visit my parents.

 

wildcard, do call or SMS me if you guys are going 2nd link for petrol , or like some people like to call it, clear carbon (just an excuse to go speeding) my wifey might want to come along, dont want to leave her at home. and the bikeasia thingy, i might be seeing you guys there. cant meet you guys at simpang bedok as i'm working on the day.

 

anyway, updates on my mechanical wifey. decided to change her engine oil after 1200km on semi-synthetic maxima to double ester motul 300V. it was an expensive oil change but when i took the bike up north with my wifey last weekend, it was so much different. gear changes are silky smooth and the engine revved much better. changed the air filter recently too, that must have improved the revving part. even my wifey asked me, what did i do to my bike this time. but i cant be spending on bikes now as i've got bills to pay and nafkah to give now. a trip to sheng shiong already costed me S$200. and i'm anticipating more to come.

Machine Price could not be 15K you have to add at least the COE abt $900 and insurance at least $600. Add a bit of taxes OTR will be 17K???

Hey guys i am thinking of getting ahorn as the original Horn is like too soft and it s like Beep Beep Beep . Horn already ppl still wanna kill you. Anyone has this experience?

 

Change my Motor Oil today during lunch time to SPC Super oil. Dunno is mineral or not. Anyone here bought the bike at MAH and got the 3 free servicing? Was charged free for the service but not the oil and filter. Is this the supposed to be this way? or have i just become carrot. Free servicing not include parts. Hmmm...

 

With new oil like more no power leh. Why ah. Anyone has this problem too. SPC Super dunno is what type of oil also. Mechanic say is mineral oil but the bottle no say it is leh. Anyone can enlighten this blur guy.

2) Office Carpark: at least $90x12:$1080

3) Road tax 1.5L: $800

4) Insurance : $1000

5) CNG car (62K) as suggested by Wcard. Dwn payment 5k

Loan: 57k for 8 years @2.8% 70K/108 : 648 per mth: Per Year:$ 7776

Total expenses per year: $11,436/365= $31 per day.

 

The first 4 items already can pay for monthly instalments for a GSR. In 48 mths it will fully be paid.

yes, most of us has replaced the stock horn. If you are paying for oil and filter I guessed the correct term to use shld be "free labour". The 1st 2 oil change u can use any mineral oil. You may want to try Motul 300V on the 3rd oil change at 3000Km.

wow that is expensive mineral oil leh. My first oil change was free n they charge me filter at $15. 2nd oil change was $6 per bottle think it was esso. The 3rd oil change was Motul 300V.

wanna change horn just change lah. we r not the GSR government. no need to apply permit. feel horn is soft, got money, change. no money, save up 1st then change.

 

b4 changing the oil, u shd ask if they charge for the oil n filter. if they charge, u can choose somewhere else instead of going back to them.

a bottle of mineral oil can get ard $7 at planet. semi oil at $10. mayb thats a semi oil? u r still running in so its normal that bike feels no power or not responsive.
