Hey guys, anyone of you here can help me work out how to price the bike to sell?? Is it better to pay full then sell off or try arrange for COI. I simply got no idea how much to sell off my bike? seems like going to lose a lot of $$.... Please pm me your advice. BTW i got mine for $14500 OTR (plus interest is about $15500) Thanks....

u need to ask the shop if settling full payment, will they adsorb the interest or u just pay $15500 no matter wat. COI, oso need to ask the shop. like new owner needed to pay up front? or any downpayment required? all these u need to check out b4 u decide cos u bike is still under hire purchase.

from wat i c, u may need to pay 2k to 3k b4 u can let go of the bike. that will depends on the shop.

if not, just keep the bike until it break even then u sell.

EJ... won't the HID be shining all over the place since our headlight reflectors are not able to focus the beam properly?

oh crap. i better take mine home.

anyway, alarms are useless to protect against theft like this unless there's a

perimeter sensor that's sensitive without going off too much of the time.

unless you enjoy a direct and uninterrupted view of your bike, it's much better

to use a cover, at least remove some of the temptation. otherwise, you

might want to loc-tite the screws, nuts & bolts.

mods done:

powerplant device, fuel injector venturis,

underseat cylindrical air filter, bassy stock cans,

super-sensitive in-built gyroscope, inertia-based accelerometer,

streamlined panniers (zero drag),

taped up wires, exposed grounding wires,

TBC mounted, custom tire pressures.

litre bikes watch out! :gun:

No pro ... :D ... that scar is not permanent ... so I took the phto for you so that it can be a remembrance for you ...hehehe :)

it means you ride with one hand on your handle bar and the other slapping the tank... just like those cowboys who ride their horse with one hand and the other slapping the horse... it is said that tank slapping can make your bike goes faster .... +20BHP.... it's dangerous but still people want to try it....

Or (just for humor)

Tank Slapping : http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=tank%20slapping

Ok, joke aside... the above is just a fictional nuisance I cook up...

below is the real definition of tank slap:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tank_slap

Hope this article will educate people on what is tank slap and prevention...

Anyway... when tank slap happens ... it is highly unvoidable to Buang your bike... unless you are those really really skilled rider... so if tank slap happen to you ... I bet the last words coming out from your mouth is "Naaaa Beeeehhhhh.... Hooooon Kaaaann Liaaaaaooooo....... " ....

Example of someone who is able to overcome tank slap :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxasTAtCFFE

Still the best investment to add on your bike is the Damper... especially if you are going touring... definitely you will speed above 120km/h ... if you do that ... the front of the bike feels light and with little bump on the road will eject your front tyre up and off contact from the ground... thus if your front wheel is not align to your rear wheel... *tank slap*.... with damper it not prevent tank slap from happening ... but it assist you to control the handle bar better when tank slap happens... thus the name "Damper"....

Wow ... that's what I call a pro ...

When tank slap happens... it's hard to maintain both hands on the handle bar... usually we will slip either hand and that is when the bike will lose control...

It looked and sounds easy to recover from tank slap but when it really happens to us ... we sure Garang Gabo ... either jam brake ... or let go and brace ourselves for the fall ... it take guts to hold on the handle bar like that pro in the video...

Actually the above video is a mild tank slap...

Look at the video below ... see how you can control such tank slap... that is a damn bloody violent tank slap.... I see liao also scared...

actually, according to this post here, it would be better if u let go of the bars rather than grip it tight
