guys wad are our plugs part numbers? also denso platinum or ngk platinum's better?

the original manual for the GSR 400 did state the type of plug to use for NGK n DENSO. for iridium plugs, consult ur favourite bike shop for more info. plugs from NGK or DENSO r good. just dun get hodaka ones.

 

yup, its been raining non-stop for the whole day...got drenched like crazy...damn cold now....

shd get urself a good set of raincoat n water resistance shoe or boots.

The plugs are NGK CR9E and DENSO U27ESR-N

I presume 600 and 400 are using the same, right?

 

Btw I need advice from matte black owners. What kind of wax is suitable for matte black? I undestand that wax which contain polishing compound is not suitable. I plan to use Soft99. Is it ok?

 

Another thing is abt bike jerking. When I close throttle on ramp (down direction) by applying engine brake in 1st or 2nd gear, my bike will jerk. Is it normal for GSR?

as for your question?

i'm using soft 99, not the metallic bottle,but the blue + white one,dilute with water to prevent it from leaving white flaky marks on your body,what i can tell is the polish can eliminate tar residue !!!soft99:gun:dirt=shiny bike hahaha

 

it's normal lah gear 1 and 2 is powerful for e-brake ...hehe u have a normal bike lah... ;)

Using the same Soft99.

Dun need to dilute. Just wipe on and then wipe off after exactly 12 seconds (some car-detailing advice I got some time back).

But I must warn you that using it on a matt-black surface will change its outlook.

OMG..i cant believe you goondoooo guys reli forged ahead with the plans...i was on my was back from KL..and was thinking "OMG, wad if they reli go ahead"..and you ACTUALLY DID...it was raining so heavy like some kinda perfect storm..can barely see far ahead through the windscreen and at some parts was driving at 60-80kmh ONLY...all i can say is you guys either got balls of steels or brains that have melted in the recent super hot weather lately...bottomline...i am trying to say...SALUTE and RESPECT...hope to join u guys on such crazy impromptu trips soon...i love the thought of unpredictability against nature...even on my way back to SG, on NSH, i somehow made a wrong turn, got lost, end up in some ulu part of gelang patah, and love every minute of "being lost"...lol..KUDOS to you guys...

den dunno for wat F reason, he switched to reverse gear...

den when i saw e reverse lights on, i HORNED him liao...

many many times...

 

n he actually still reversed into me...

WTF...

no need to check blind spot??? no need to check back???

im invisible???

 

lucky is kiss my front fender n front wheel lightly only...

On the way back from Melaka headed towards Machap. I spotted some rain drops. Looking up i realised i still can make it on time without getting wet. Looking behind i noticed the other 2 riding at a snail pace. hahahah.. So i decided to break off from the pack. Went off on my own first. It withstood 230+km/h on the downhill portion and constant cruising of 160km/h to 180km/h all the way till Machap.

 

:bouncefire: :bouncefire: Aweee man how i wished i had a camera mounted at that time. Its just foooking crazy... I was like flashing my high beam like nobody business. Hahhaahha... I sorta made it to Machap 30mins earlier and waited for the guys. They eventually arrived with raincoats on.. Khehehehe... :p
