I dunno how true it can be ... but it tampers with your ECU ... so I dun trust it ... but anyway, it is an interesting gadgets though... if it works as what it said ... then it is as good as having a PCIII...

Dun flame me hor ... I noob over technical aspect of bikes ... just found this to be interesting ... so wanna share with you guys....

I dun dare to purchase it and fix it on my bike as it tampers with the ECU ... so for guys who really want to try ... try it at your OWN RISK!!! :D

hmm interesting...i guess in car context..they are only as good as RSM or VAFC...as it rides on your ECU...sends "wrong" signal to override your ECU...and thus input more fuel or air into the system...its merely a piggyback...but if your setup is stock...not much response can come out of it..UNLESS you have a real good tuner who specialises in these devices...then you can really tap the full potential out using such devices...PCIII i suppose is a better option..but still under the piggyback category...different classes of piggyback..different prices..different results...but at these affordable prices, possibly worth to try...so, any commando GSR-ians to test it out then??...:)

i dun trust these type of gadgets....anything that says increase fuel efficiency by adding it to your vehicles usually does not do anything much.

if it is that good, it would have been used decades ago by manufacturers. that's my logic regarding such stuff.

It does not tamper with your ECU.

It intercepts the signal from the IAT sensor and tricks the ECU in thinking that the Intake Air Temperature is colder, thus causing the ECU to compensate by leaning out the AFR more.

Thus you are TECHNICALLY running in near max lean conditions, theoretically improving the performance of the bike.

But, when the actual external temperature is too cold or too hot, your bike are going to either too rich (fouls plugs like nobody's business) or too lean (burnt out plugs like nobody's business), which are the prevalent climate of this country.

If you are serious abt this, get a variable resistor (i.e. those volume knobs on speaker systems) and hook it up inline to the IAT sensor wire before the ECU. You will have a variable power boost chip that you can tune 'on-the-fly'.

Saves you a lot of money.

But no point, really.

You are better off putting on a DIY TRE resistor....

I would have said exactly as u said it. Hahhaha... Love the touch on the speaker knobs. Hahahah Tune on the fly. Anyway all this means nuthing on the 400cc bikes. More to the 600cc. On the O2 sensor. But paying so much for a simple mod is pointless. A simple resistor is all it takes to sorta fool the ECU.

Not 02 sensor.

IAT sensor.

Its located in the airbox.

400s have them.

But like I said, still no point...
