Any skipper bikers out there?

 

 

 

Saw this skipper in the bike shop today. FL plate. skipper125. COE till 2014. selling at 500bucks... I am wondering if i should change to that one.

 

 

 

 

I am riding a Honda T150 now.

 

 

Can I ask if skipper fuel consumption expensive?

 

Is skipper really slow?

 

Is the maintenance cost high?

 

Wat do i need to look out for ?

i used to owned a skipper b4.

the fuel consumption is abt 20km/litre.

for me i feel is abit low loh cos my job require me to be on the road everyday.

the speed can hit 100km easily but bear in mind tat it's already 13-14 yrs old liao so dun torture the bike anymore lah.

the parts cost for the bike is ok but the worksmanship for the bike is a bit high though.

as for wat things to look out for is when the bike is on mainstand,use ur leg to lightly lift the exhaust up.

if it will move tat means the mountin is loose liao,will be pretty dangerous when negotiatin corners & its pretty ex to have it change.

as for engine i'm afraid i'm not so skillfully liao.

how tat my little bit of experience with skipper will help.

p.s. IMHO i feel tat ur ta150 is good liao
