oh ya.. there's one vespa, i think it's a PX150 mod, parked outside seagate company along gambas ave towards admiralty mrt for a very long time. Seems like it's abandon or something. Is the owner here? A dark gold and silver color combination.

The good news on the other hand is that GTS will come in but only in the 250ie version and its cheaper then GTV 250ie.

 

The long awaited Vespa S will also be coming but expect it to be ready for sale around June 08.

anyone installed an airhorn on their classic scooter? where do you put it to prevent it from getting wet in the rain?

:: if your spare tyre is in the front, fix it behind the tyre...

if you have a glove box, fix it at the base of the box...

if nothing in front, fix it with a bracket on the floorboard...

some might suggest fixing it at the underpart of the main body...

but it can be damaged on humps and on rainy days...

the mechanics helping you out should know better. ::

if its inside the box, likely u can't hear it as loud.. might as well stick to quack quack horn =) haha

:: it'll be a useless item if placed in there, dude. fix it on the floorboard. rain won't melt the horn. most vespa-airhorn users with no glovebox/spre tyre fix it this way...only way that'll scare the shite outta hell-drivers... ::

its quite tricky. i dont want it to be visible. the horn im looking at is the stebel nautilus compact. i wouldnt mind mounting it below the frame of the vespa but it needs to be mounted upright and i dont want muck collecting in it--and ruining it.

Hi guys.. now im riding S4 but i tot of changing to vespa.. those vintage / classic type wan. Got no idea how to start..

 

hmm.. like to know how many type of those vintage / classic vespa are there? Then wat is PX150/200 and Sprint? Wat is the differences between them? Are they those classic/vintage type? What shop could i go to be able to view all these vespa?

 

SO sorry to ask so many question cos im realli noob in vespa but still tot of getting one. Hope u guys could help me. Thanks alot

:: price is very subjective. the yr of manufacture, the plate number, the originality of the body-parts etc... all plays a part. these are few places that you can survey:

roda dua trading (jas' shop/workshop along horne rd, opp jalan besar stadium's rear entrance)

jin cheng motors (ah joo's workshop at ubi ave 1)

tong aik motor supply (golden wall bldg opp tekka mall)

hendra's (two lanes behind singapore post @ paya lebar)

cik ali's (tampines industrial park, behind safra tampines)

... and the classifieds on this scooter forum.
