if that is your concern, then i would suggest you to send it to a scooter shop to do it all. In that way, you would't face too much troubles. Alternatively, if you are daring enough to do it yourself, meaning restoring it yourself, any problem you can address it here in this forum. i myself have learned alot from the peeps here.

did you switch the fuel off and forget? Or did you forget to switch the fuel off overnight thus flooding the engine...

i think , it can porbebly be ur spark plugs, or maybe try not to leave the scooter idling for too long, rev it up more offten when the engine is running...just sharing my thots. hope it helps.

haha he's in camp now.

Symptoms: Bike can start, can rev, can idle but depending on it's mood, it might kill itself in 5-10seconds. petrol not a problem, fuel switch not a problem, plug ok, carb i doubt choked

heh, i went to check his bike over the weekend but didn't have time to check properly 'cause i was rushing off elsewhere, but i suspect some loose wires somewhere earthing his bike, killing it. Pulled out the electric cutoff, and everything worked well... went on to fiddle with idling and so on.. =)

Then rode around the MSCP and was good for quite a while, den problem came back again... maybe because i itchy backside put back the switch..haha should have just took it out completely... anyways i didn't have time to stay around to fault-find, so...if you guys interested in finding out the problem, can go over his place in the wkends.

coi from hire-purchase companies? no

Then again, if you refering to classic NEW (as in 1st hand) px150, yesh

but some shops (like ah joo) allow you to pay him back in installments, provided you purchase the scoot from his shop

machinek... is this problem scoot a sprint? If so it could be a faulty kill switch... otherwise am stumped...

irorus... yes... and yes you need approval from LTA. The big downside is sidecar bikes are not allowed on expressways... so no riding out to the airport to welcome guests etc...

haha u will learn to get around singapore via all the major roads (and small) =) anyways, if i'm not wrong, sidecars will cost you more for roadtax..

it's a bajaj, sprint body, but its with px-series engine..haha i'm quite certain it's a 'loose wire' problem. Either at the electric cut-off, or some where along the circuit had a short... IF i have the time to scrutinise it, should be able to find
