Dude... you have a pinasco already... why do you wan t a new one??? The kit she sells is not a 225 unless you run a 60mm crank... otheriwse its a pinasco 215 just like the one you already have....

PLease don't spend a cent on your engine until you understand what porting means!

itsonfire> my bike temporary duct tape yesterday onli. emergency. if not reach home most of the things gone. Haha

Cephelix> When alloy is mention there is onli one brand that most of use. pinasco. Malossi rarely ppl use unless they got a deep pocket. Polini not available.Agree with sharpey. dont do anything to ur engine. Get use to wat u have first. Porting and the rest leave it when u are more comfy with the bike and know the internals. its something u wouldnt want to mess with at the begining.

All pinasco kits CAN be 225cc... provided you run a 60mm crank... otherwise.. with stock 57mm (what you and I have) its a 215cc...

Morning people, I'm in Chiangmai now....I found a vespa parts shop here...maybe can get some parts cheaper than from SG...

so if anyone wanna get anything..I might be able to bring back some...unless the item is bulky...

Just let me know what you're looking for, how much you can get it in SG, then I go check the price...

if I see cheaper, I let you know...

I will try to profit a little...only if you still save money compared to getting in SG

I will close this offer on Thursday. Coming back next Monday. PM me..I might miss this thread...

heh was speeding thru in the expressway last night when my headlight cover flew off but before it hit me on the neck. luckiy was wearing a proper helmet with a visor. if not my throat would have been slit. haha. yeah like maz said, vibration is the culprit to almost every prob a vespa have esp when u have alloy block in it cos the vibrations will be greater.

so check ya nuts and bolt from time to time to make sure its all tight. u dont wanna have ya part flying off while ur riding. i ever had my rear suspension drop off and rubbed agianst the back tyre while riding at the expressway. lucky i didnt drop. :giddy:

Come original, u gotta come original...

cephelix,

the main tool should be the "T" tool for our scoots....

other tools are probably what you can get at other hardware shops...like screw drivers, spanners, etc...

Hey Arie, check your 2T reservoir cap to see if it came loose. You'll have to remove your right side cowl, remove your rubber air inlet and peep into the air inlet hole to check this cap. Tends to pop if you close the cap back in to quickly. Happened to me the last time and I thought the reservoir was leaking.

The loss of power in gear one can be due to the following;

1. Dirty Carb...learnt that from AJ..

2. Almost dead sparks plug...which is easy to fix

3. Horrors of horrors, poor compression...not likely i think.

Excels are like quasimodo...it's ugly but it grows on you....heeeee!!
