Backfire while starting bike

Hi dudes, for consecutively 2 days while starting mi bike in the morning, i experienced backfire the moment i pressed the ignition. Mi spec 3 is less than 6 months old only.

I did a search and some ppl suggest changing plugs. Is that what i should do? Or is there other solutions to this problem?

Pls help as it is damn heart pain for mi to hear the loud 'pop', thanks.

Just change the plug and see how it goes first

But mi plugs onli bout 5000+km only leh. i thought plugs can last 2 oil change ie 10000km?

I suggest u take ur bike 2 ur trusted bikeshop/ the shop u buy ur bike (should b still under warrenty rite?) 4 a look. Perhaps need 2 tune it? Being a brand new bike, i dun think u need 2 worry abt defective parts, but then again.. Just a check by ur trusted mechanic should clear up any doubts u hv.

i tink the problem is sort of solved already. i tink it lies in the FP60 i use. if i dun use it, there will be no backfire when starting bike.

its like tat de for spec3 bike, i also have this problem when ppress the ignition button. The mechanic at loois motor told me all spec 3 bike got this pop sound but wont damage our bike de..

really? all spec 3??? but now no more backfire aft i stopped using FP60 le.

 

Btw why ur bike batt down so soon???
