Bros, just bought a spec 3 boldo'r not long ago. Is it true that this model heats up very fast? Just rode around 25km and then when I stopped, I noticed that the fan is on. Is this a common thing or is there something that I have to check? Thanks!

It's quite normal, however should the bike be more than a year old... it's good to have the radiator flushed!

To Me....

Hi does anyone know if the trip meter are illustrated in km or miles?

S4 is JDM(Japan Domestic Model), in Asia, we tend to use KM than Miles.

Some or all European or US(cant rmber which) bikes will hv both reflected on their meter as its meant for their countries spec.

Hi bro, nice meeting you the other time!!!

Ya I had a few good offers for the vfr from the bros in this forum, but

unfortunately I decided to trade in to a shop as the have a unit of the

bol'dor which I had been searching for. Also as my surgery dates are

drawing closer, I saved the hassle of viewing and paper work.

Anyway got a black boldor, dropped about 800 bucks at Unique Motor to

service all the critical tubing and electrical...as usual...fear mentally

..hahaha. No exception, the bike run smooth just like my old skool Version S,

just that I wasn't used to the power...hahaha...used to overtake on the

top gear with the V4...now got to drop a gear to do so...but its fine..i can

live with it!

As of now, I was pinned by 27 stitches, on my right butt...had some problem

mounting onto the bike. (Can't imagine mounting on the VFR). Will also be able to

collect my ducati from the shop when i get a green light to remove the stitches :cheeky:

There you go bro...some grossly pix if you dun mind........

Oh I had changed the relays, headlight switch, some grounding cables etc.

Last week happened to dropped by motor world; got a set of yoshi full system.

It was an outstanding upgrade. Feel like a ah pek race bike now...hahaha.

Anyway...back to the boxing days...had also fitted 2 side pannier from Givi

and the keyless coocase you mentioned...which was rather neat for 2 full face

and it also comes with d Christmas brake lights...hahaha...

Ellamcoy,

Sounds like you've got a bike fit for racing! Haha!

Wanna meet up for a drink? Let's find a good time when everyone is free.

Stoner,

R u back from Thailand? May wanna ride up to Thai in Nov.

There was another guy here who wanted to sell off his boldor to get a Silverwing.

I wonder if he sold off his.

Saw a Boldor w 3 boxes just now at Marymount. Very nice!

Because of him the lame walked briskly,

And the songless through him burst into melody.

Hey everyone

There is a recall for Bol D'or bikes. Please see this post for more info.

Cheers

Be wary of the source of information for your bike's maintenance. Some FAQs are compiled by people who lack the technical know how.
