Bro, when money is concern, fren or no fren, its bez to have black or white or lagi bez, pay full cash.

many years ago, i rode a scooter. use to own 3 at one time, during my scootering days.

wanted to sell off my PX150. Shop willing to take $800.

den my fren, or so called brudder beg mi to sell him cheap2, coz he badly needs a bike for transport. So-called brudder lah, i sold to him $500.

He did pay me $500 but den, never transfer ownership.

dat time i oso kinda bz, so totally forgot abt it.

after 3mths or so, suddenly i received lotsa summon letters.

called him up, he admit he kena a few summon, mostly parking illegally at void deck, pavement or never put coupons.

den i ask him for money to pay, he say no money, so boh pian i have to pay summons coz under my name. Den i ask him change ownership, he say he no longer riding the bike. He left it to rot someware coz he buang or sometink like dat. Den told me if i want back the bike, can go take back at a location.

when i went to the location, i was shocked to see the bike in a bad shape.

knn! damn tulan wif dis so-called brudder!

called him up, really EFF him upside down and i did not contact him ever since. Dat bike, in the end i scrapped.

Sorry for being long winded but juz sharing my true story wif u guys.

This is so-called brother. My real blood brother oh so matter of factly smsed me asking whether I can put him as sub-rider and lend him my bike when I'm not using. Dunno what gave him the idea that I wouldn't mind at all lending him my bike...:slapforehead:

First learn stand, then learn fly. Nature's rules biker-sans. Not mine...

Pay by installment, they earn already.

how much documents are there to do also?

shop people know people from the insurance company, LTA, and so on.

They are the best and fastest in processing these documents, how hard can it be?

not even a single problem too and they offer to take in at that price, 3.5k and sell it for 5k?

just for ur info, sharing wif u:

installment they earn a bit nia, dun foget they use their company to get the loan from finance company in the first place.

selling bike to private owner is easy, insurance and transfer can settle liao but when problem arise, u are in the top contact list:cool:

shops got the contacts from varies companies, agencies but they dunno them btw, it's still a first come first serve procedure.

they got their reputation to maintain, wif fax machines, emails, tel, they have to be fast, customer service.

how u know they will sell ur bike at 5k? although i gotta admit some shops sell bikes at a cut throat price to carrot ppl.

*********i not working for any of these ppl/company/agency for ur info, but i witness before their selling price, procedures etc, but of cos they earn a few hundred dollars but think about it, they have to deliver wat they promise, wat of ppl pay full cash, no installment to earn, they no need to go through all this to prove how they work, wat am i to them tio bo?

btw again, ASPhoon is the shop i trust, everything black and white, no early settlement etc, their bike shops stories i believed u heard alot also liao.

no offense btw, we can learn alot from each other, i buy/sell/trade in bikes alot of times liao, to private buyer/ASPhoon etc, private buyer is a headache when they anyhow use the bike and problems come, they keep calling u liao***********

Don't worry, I know where you coming from. After all, for those reading, might actually learn from all these.

Anyway, it was ASPhoon who quoted me for that price. Yes no doubt indeed, within a year, I bought 2 bikes from them. Paper work wise, yes, very black and white, that's the good thing I like about ASPhoon but bike prices wise, that I'm not sure. Customer service? ASPhoon at Ubi Branch are only good to you when you're getting a bike from them. If you get into an accident, need their help, they just chuck you aside.

How do I know they will sell my bike at 5K?

Let's just say, I happened to hear from both the seller and buyer. Seller sells to shop, buyer buys from shop.

Of course if your bike is a FBA plate, FY plate and the shop quotes you for like... 2.3k, then that is fine but if your bike is an FBD plate, mileage below 5.5k and they're offering you 3.5k, seriously, I wouldn't say carrot because they are running a shop too so they can't afford to be on the losing edge but nonetheless, that is too low.

i come from the distant island known as little red dot, dun let anyone else know:cheeky:

i dun like tat branch too, mouth open wan money liao, keep rushing for downpayment even they dunno wat bike u wan, i dun like this kinda salesman.

i always go ASPhoon serangoon, alot of my friends and forumers also patronize them, not gd y i recommend to other ppl? i like the salesmen there, they will try to give wat u wan then gives u time to consider.

i gotta say sell to shop can get the job done fast, waiting for a private buyer might take some time, no guarantee.

first hand bikes got low resale value, tat time i sold my revo, i made a 4k lost, i think about it also dulan, i sell to private buyer tat time.

Have u tried bike pro, asphoon serangoon for quotation?

i also understand ur situation cos i been in ur shoes before, but sometimes its bo bian one, tats y i will keep this bike even i get another bike unless someone agrees to my selling price.

I have similar case but lazy to describe the incident here. Let me say it simple. Sell the bike to whoever. Check the phucking conditions and makesure he dun come back whinning. Transfer name immediately. Case close. Any other fault with the bike that he kana after is his own problem. Cos he didnt check. But if its someone you knw then let him knw wats the problem. If its someone very close then you should tell him that the bike is not road worthy to sell to him if its really problematic. As for in the forum i dun sell lemon stuff. Wat you see in my post sale thread is true and no lies. If you come whinning after that i will phuck you. Hahahaha..

But wat zam say is true brother or no brother fren or no fren when it comes to $ its sensitive. Kana before not once but definately more than 20times. Only your own family blood brother then you can trust other than that... sorry. $ come then bike is yours and transfer must be done IMMEDIATELY.

Selling to shop to my point of view is Hassle free. So that i dun get clowns viewing the bike and lowball pricing. Shop you go there ask the price if you are ok then sell if not then you have to do some work lor wait for viewer la some put aeroplane la some say will buy but end up say this say that then problem comes call you ask you why like that. That to me is a never ending hassle. First hand bike when you buy be prepared to lose much. Thats the usual practise if you sell to shop. Its standard.
