If I am not wrong both models are no longer in production lah, thus most present owner would prefer to keep theirs as long as she is still financially worthy, unless you are damn damn lucky to stumble into one for sale.

 

Only one Rune was briefly makes her touchdown on Singapore soil sometimes back at Mah’s showroom but understand that she was being re-exported due to no buyers. SBF wasn’t existence then for the news to be spread like nowadays . Re-check with Mah of how much would be the price tag to bring her back to roaming Singapore roads? The price tag was a whopping S$63K then (The price tag selling in US was USD$23k ++, with exchange rate abt S$1.75 then ).

 

However, unlike the FatLady (Valkyrie original model), despite the marvelous test-ride rating she received, Rune is more like a show-bike and ain’t practical for distance touring (no pillion seat and no rooms for add-ons touring luggage). I am surprise to see few being placed at US classified section too soon after the launch.

 

Until now, there is still brand new Rune available at some of US outlets at price tag between USD$17K to USD$19K. Perhaps if you are really keen, try to liaise and workout the financial plan with Mah to bring it in. If based on Mah’s previous price tag and the present exchange rates, perhaps the SGD$-Tag now could be in the S$40K ranges.

Boss, Valkyrie’s built is so symmetrical and balance lah, no matter which angle you looks at her from. How I wish all cruiser can be built the same (symmetrically), instead of looking good on the right side only, but a far cry (IMO) if looking from the ‘wrong’ side (except Yamaha Royalstar). No offence to others pls, it’s just my personal perception

I know this is an old thread but should there are some people who are still keen, I have been understand that there is a laid-up since 2yrs ago; 2003 Valkyrie Interstate somewhere on this island at $14K and I believe it's negotiable.

Are you saying that there actually is a Valkyrie for sale in Singapore? I would love to know more.
