They have specific instructions for bikes tat are listed.. Not a generic one..

i'm riding an r6 actually, but normally, same manufacturers, same/similar color codes... trial and error using multimeter lor... normally voltage for tacho and speedo, similar.. 0-4v.. or higher, depending on manufacturer.. rev up engine, then can find tacho signal.. go into gear, then can see speedo signal..

i was 1st to collect mine lor.. hahah.. 6-pin connector at sim lim cost $2.30 only.(pins are included)

 

Now just need to get some wires and proper wire clamping tool..

 

btw, dont have to cut ur wiring harness.. try to squeeze the wires into the original wiring harness connector... then put the newly bought connector in between the gear indicator and ur bike connector.. if not, u have to cut lor..

i have a problem.. the gear indicator works erraticly.. esp at gear 2 to 5.. eg: when at gear 3, the gear shows 3 den after awhile showed 4 without me changing gears.. sumtimes when dropping gears, the indicator maintain at 5.. did i do the set up wrongly?.

 

anyone care to help?..

when u set up the indicator,what rpm did set ur shift light?

 

when u set ur gears, what rpm does the blinking numbers changed? do u shift gears accordingly?

i set up the gears before setting the shift light..

the device need little learning..

cos every gear i juz need to rev up to 5k then the device increase the number by one.. actually i was shock by the device learning that i tot can hav some time of allowance b4 switching my leg to change my gears.. i do it on a padlock stand..

my bike up to 8k rpm den number changed by one.. i did it on my mainstand though..

 

when u ride at slow speed, does the gear change accordingly?.. mine did not.. i am a bit lost here.. i think i did something wrong with the set-up but not really sure what.
