I saw the user manual say must remove the crankcase breather tube plug and drain deposits into a suitable container.

Not sure how do I do it.

tat one ar, aiyo, can just see if water or something is choke there, can just remove n drain out. if u look carefully, it's ur air box, the so-called crankcase breather links to ur air box

Hi guys. Can anyone recommend me any shop that can do original paintwork of S4 revo? My tank paint got chipped off and need to touch up or maybe respray whole tank.

I think, therefore I am..

hmm, i see. i might wanna get revo this mth by trading in my stock drz since i've alrdy break even the installments plus i'm intrested in the sp tadao exhaust. gawd damn eye catching!!

I know it's very eye catching and all but a unique exhaust like that also got unique problems. Full system for super four got this problem. The exhaust bottom part(not sure what they call it) scrapping hump and bumps on the road. My revo stock exhaust already scrapping some high humps already. Cannot imagine how much those 4 to 1 headers scrape those 'road hazards' humps. The chain almost touches the exhaust if you fix the twin muffler. I repeat ALMOST only but does not touch it. I saw one of the rider's bike after fixing at unique. If the chain becomes loose confirm will touch the cans..

Wah!! i don wanna scratch the expensive pipe man, lol! i'm sure there's a solution somehow but for that scrapping of hump/bump or even pot holes on the road, i cannot think of any solution!! T_T

There's a way, harden ur rear shocks and go easy on humps will do. Harden ur front forks too, not too much

Good solution bro, from day 2 after collecting my bike, I set my rear showas to the max already. I mean the hardest. But the pillion will feel the uncomfortableness for every hump.My front still stock. But still some "road hazard humps" will still grace as I'm a heavy weight champion... Lol....

Lately my revo got this issue of starting up. When I turn the keys to on position, after the swiping of the needles once, the orange and red light(not the hiss light, the other one) which is suppose to go off before I push start button is not going away. Sometimes it goes off but I cannot on my bike. I try once more and if still cannot I flick the cut engine cut off switch and try again. Pretty worried as it's becoming more consistent. What might be the problem?

Red light is engine oil warning, check ur EO level.

Orange light is top left corner? It's ur EFI warning light. Throttle a bit when u start if the light still on.

Do not throttle n start the bike after problem solved.

bro ,for my REvo which I bought early this year, usually hit 260km then reserved. but some of other Revo said it can go more than that.so some said depands on ur riding style or engine oil that u used.

Posted
Heard can travel only 260km before hitting reserve? Is it true?

mine 270km, left 1 more bar. usually i reach 320- 330 then reserve. ride 90 to 100 km/h only. and i check my tyre and lub my chain every week. hope it help.

it is not neccessary, it's personal preference.

it cleans out unwanted deposits and protects internal parts.

hey guys, i got a question. im due for servicing, is the Engine Flush,OWS 220 Engine Protector,OWS 360 Gas Treatment necessary? what does it do?

I think for every 100 000km than flush once should be enough. If I'm not wrong it's to remove the deposits from your engine and 'crap' that has been collected over the years.

Wa..it's quite a difference between 270km and 320km, at least 50km difference. How come? Azman, what engine oil u use? Stock exhaust?

Btw, full tank is 18L right...Reserve is how many litres?

Posted

Reserve is 3 litres.. 1bar is 2.5 litre.. I can hit 270-290 before reserve.. Ride at 104 all the time..

tat one i not sure, usually mechanic replace spark plug one to one, meaning take out liao will fix another one. will miss de?

unless one of the spark plug faulty then different story, if one faulty still can start but u will feel the lack in power, seriously under-powered

actually from the manual, it's 4 litres reserve for Revo

hi guys, i need some advice. i am currently riding silver wing 08 model. thought of changing to s4 revo. However i heard from some mechanics that revo is not 'stable' yet, always break down. Is it true huh? i am not very sure about this, maybe they are trying to 'smoke' me for that. can anyone advice me?

6th month on the road putting more than 10k mileage... always enjoying the vtec! no problem so far... I like the '1 second tap' on the ignition and the engine come to live... I think most of us have not much problem with our revo but initially before buying most of us have heard of these rumours and pondered on the decision... haha... dun do silly things to the electrical system or the engine if u r not a pro will be on the safer side...
