Hey bros of the Revo Family,

i would like to clarify some question i have..

1) The shop at rowell road sells NGK Iridium spark plug Model number is CR8EHIX-9 is one of the premium grade right?

2) Is there any other way(beside putting power commander) to set the idling to below to 1.5rpm?

3) Where to you guys get your belly pan? Most of my friend bought at Auntie @ $60 but i scared lousy quality.

See alot of revo riders do their bike and sound so nice but i don't really know where to do. =(

Hi all,

Would like to review on AhPek's Grounding on my Revo. Went to him for Grounding and changing of coolant (Im also using Ahpek's EO).

I felt the immediate engine power, acceleration, responsiveness, smoothness change after grounding was done. 16 pts in total was grounded by AhPek. I would strongly encourage fellow riders to do so as you will really feel the difference and get a more njoeyable ride.

And thanks Ahpek for sharing so much technical knowledge about S4, even though i couldnt understand much. haha.

1. Yes, iridium plugs are one of the best plugs in the market.

2. power commander dun help u to adjust the idling, it fine-tunes the air/fuel ratio of the bike. it is normal for revo idling speed to be 1400rpm.

Dun ever attempt to adjust the idling or else it will go haywire.

3. Normal belly pan are made from fibreglass unless u buy those custom made carbon fibre types, i mean real CF.

4. Street legal exhaust pipes are available to choose from.

I think I have the similar noise also and did check with one of the workshop they say its the fuel pump cos we hear noise from the fuel tank when

we left it open and started the bike... but so fast meh.. bike only done 46K on milage for 2 1/2 years. I think I am going to check with the agent Boon Siew.

As for performace there is no issue .The noise only started 3 days ago but very mild high tone.

Guys, Just found out Smth. When iam in 3rd gear drop to second gear, while bike is slowing down release clutch, my revo won't stall and will continue moving as though iam still throttling the bike. Asked my mech ah boon and a friend who rides a revo, both gave me the same answer that since revo is FI, standard idling is ard 1.4-1.5 due to the auto tuning thus revo will not stall at 2nd gear with the clutch released. Anyone else noticed this before?

For the VTEC 1 and VTEC 2 that uses the spec 3 tail, can anyone recommend me any shop that dopes it nicely? I did it at a shop for $190 and the workmanship sucks. Went to another shop to redo, he talk as if his workmanship damn good, but it sucks as well. Paid $120 more for the workmanship. Pls recommend me a good shop. And the price as well. Cos my current tail board has many holes due to the two shop redo ing it and it looks awful. Want to redo all over again including the new tail. Thanks

Riding a 2-stroker and a 4-stroke bike is different. If you are driving or remember your Class 3 experience, you would notice that the car doesn't stall when you engage gear 2 and release the clutch. If at that point your speed is high, engine braking would slow it down. If it is at the right speed for gear 2, it will just continue rolling at that speed.

Same thing should happen for Revo.

Hope this helps.
