can any guide me on how to form up row before turning, i failed my 6.01 due to that and im still abit blur on when to form up 1 or 2 rows.

 

 

If i didn't rem wrongly, for outside road turning left or right, you got to see the road marking whether is it shared lane or not. For example, the arrow on the road indicate a left-turn and going striaght. So if you are going straight, you formed up 2 rows, but if you are turning left, you formed up one row cause it is a shared lane. Same applies for right-turning and going straight arrows. If the arrows only show left-turn ONLY or right-turn ONLY, you formed up 2 rows.

 

 

Hope this helps. Rem don't follow what the instructors do! They like to trick learners by doing the wrong things like didn't stop at stopline or going thru' junction even is amber light etc. Good luck for your 6.01!

Simple, whichever direction you are turning to, keep to that side. For eg, turning left, keep left, 2nd rider on the right side, 3rd rider behind 1st on the left.

 

Vice Versa for right side.

one lane i think dont have point left and right together one . .

 

if i still remember correctly, if the arrow is point straight AND left or right, form up one row if you are turning (unless going straight i think)

 

if arrow is only pointing straight or only pointing left or right then form up 2 row

But don't get mix up with test route which you will be going thru in 7.01 i think, coz during test, the right turn after the u-turn is formed up ONE ROW only though arrows indicate just right turn only.

if shared lane then just keep to the direction you are turning. Seriously can't say 6.01 lesson or 1.03 here.. Because most of us(or maybe just me) can't remember what is in that lesson already since its so darn long ago
