wave s both speedometer and fuel meter are digital..

u can see wave s dont have speedometer cable at the front wheel..

wave s speedometer calculate it speed by the engine i guess.. or gps.. haha im not sure too.

 

wave s when u see blinking.. means it switch to reserve mode liao..

thats good thing about wave s.. analog meter easily spoil.. eg speedometer cable snap.

yea easy pass inspection.. just dont get caught by tp on the road.

 

my friend kr no mirrors, mod pipe, no chain guard.. too many things illegal to mention..

he paid bikeshop 50 bucks for inspection..

he did at bt batok.. but im not sure which shop..

u can weld or drill a bracket to the swing arm. easy to diy.

i see quite a few bikes mod their swing arm to fit different types of chain guards..

 

go jb sure they know what to mod..

actually simple..

just get the bracket .. i dont know what to call the bracket.. the one got many holes for screws and easily bend.. wrap them up at your swing arm.. and mount your chain guard with screws

Check with you....racing footrest illegal? Inspection cannot pass wan ah? I lost one side of pillion footrest and got 1 pair of aftermarket footrest from ah boy for $10 and knn, the footrest nt tight fit as after a ride, the footrest will be half open position. Think of changing it again so whr to get gd and cheap footrest like those in super 4? Thanks

As to my best knowledge.. racing footrest is illegal... Should have ask the previous owner to get me a standard one.. damn..

but usually the inspector close one eye for racing footrest... as long got brake can liao.

MY Wave S use Analog speedometer...

i think typo error. cuz wave s and r both also analog speedometer. only fuel meter is different.

wave s still use the digital meter.. i mean how it calculate the speed.

yes there is analog pointer.. not those numeric as in digital.

realise when u switch ignition on the pointer turn 1 round?.. that is to calibrate..

 

where else an analog speedometer use cable directly to the meter. the meter works by the spin of this thin rod inside the cable.

The case of the fuse.. dun JUST tell the mech to change ur fuse... tell him to check ur wiring... mine had to change to 5 fuses den rectify the thing.. haha... coz me 8 bux only..

Haha....no bro....its on my the other bike.....just got this wave less than a month....then tot of getting a wash....in the end rode into my void deck washing bay still fine....suddenly after washing it just refused to budge....saddening.....best thing was storm came after i washed it.......wasted my morning.....
