i tat time go bike shop & do..they say change spark plug , engine oil can liao..i change le still the same..siian..den i go Boon siew & service..they say 1hr need pay them $80plus for the wad sh!t fee sia..den i tinking if they service my bike 10hrs..i need pay $80 X 10 = 800 wtf..so EX den i din do le..-.-

check this out on the tensioner.... slowly read n read carefully.. coz the info abit mixed on timming chain and tensioner...

I changed to NGK iridium spark plug/EO/air filter at 16000km. Now at 18000km

Start to have problems like stalling when moving off(Sometimes). more prone to stalling when starting the bike.

Carb dirty? nv wash b4 since i bought the bike. or idling rpm set too low?

 

Previously using NGK G-power. (no problems)

I think my piston rings are messed up. rev hard got white smoke.

engine got tink tink tink.

Timing chain gone? tensioner gone?

 

where are the pros when we need them bad.

but i highly doubt so bro, coz my bike went overhaul last 2 months or so. after that maintenance part, i realise starting my engine in the morning is damn hard. needs to really warm up before i can pull my throttle, and i nvr had to warm up before. one start is all it needs previously.

 

I dont think its carb dirty also, my friends dad say it could be my piston, he said prolly went i went for overhaul the mech nvr check my piston or suay2 he go "change" my piston to old one. And that the white smoke was from my engine oil, which sipped thru the piston ring causing the bike to feel over-flowed.

 

I feel sad man if the mech who overhauled my bike really did a "dirty" job in overhauling. But i cant rush back to that shop and just cast my assumptions on him.

 

any other possibilities bro? Btw how much does it cost to change piston and rebore my block? If possible SGP shop, i too lazy wanna cross border.

WAH OUR DEAR FRIEND GOT PROBLEM WITH HIS WAVE LIAO BUT TOO BAD I KNOW NUTHING BOUT 4 STROKE BIKE:slapforehead:

 

 

NEVERTHELESS i think the valve seal has been cracked/worn out.

 

so, the engine oil slightly entered the combustion chamber and burnt along with the fuel thus producing white smoke from your exhaust.

 

 

if its not the seal, then check your piston rings condition.

 

replace the seal or rings will overcome the problem.

i need help.

My wave suddenly slowed down in the middle of the expressway while riding. The same feeling you get when your bike runs out of petrol, problem is, my bike is full of petrol. it took me awhile of kick-starting and e-starting to get it running.

 

when its running i tried revving the throttle abit by bit, and to my surprise there was white smoke. This never happened before.

 

please advise peeps.

White smoke sounds like a lost in engine combustion or your piston rings are worn causing oil to mix with petrol.

Head gasket could have been worn or piston rings worn. I m on Denso Iridium - no problem + lots more power than b4.
