hi all, hope u can answer my QN ,

 

1st yr insurance with NTUC finsihing, now gonna renew, do i get the 1st yr no claim 10% NCD ??

Hi, newbie here... jus got my 2B lic, going to buy a bike but last time buy medical insurance kena chopped until don noe wat...

1.cannot renew less than 1 year

2.new rate starting from jan 1 2007 regardless of new policy or old policy

3.p-plate + $150

 

i renew my sp insurance under mitsui 452

$500 - 10% NCD so ard 450

last year i paid $377 FYI

 

which means new licence holder insurance $650....

Just wish to noe how much is e insurance for a 1993 gsxr400 insurance for 3rd party.. im 20yrs old..

Hi, can i check with you guys,

 

if my bike still under installment, and for the upcoming renew of insurance, can i do it myself or i need to go back to the motorshop where i got my insurance to do it for me?

 

cos i understand log card of my bike is needed to do insurance, but i dun have it..

lets say I wanna add myself(p-plater) into sub rider under my ta200 under my dad's name(darn old rider before I was even born ), how much do I have to pay? 20+ bucks? or top up the insurance few hundred bucks cuz I'm a p plater? under Mitsui..I got no idea..I went to the web and I can't really find the help I need -_-

every bike insurance goes by lowest age preumium.. so you have to top up the difference..

yah, it is standard for all...

 

the company will give a letter stating your NCD amount. can bring it to other company and they will give you the same NCD.

you can renew your insurance by your own. no need to go through bikeshop.

i dunno why the Mitsui staff told you so.... may be he wants to skip some job?

is it? confirm? i even ask the motorshop itself.. then he told me must renew at his bike shop like no other way...

 

i also dun have a log card.. but wat if other company like axa need a log card?

 

as i know NTUC is document free.. just call them and buy a policy from them can le.. only need to go down and pay ...

 

wonder that.. if i received the insurance letter.. and buy my own new insurance.. will the bike shop know? cos sian... that time i brought my bike he told me my insurance is 389 by saying only and i got the policy paper ... it only state 310...

 

so if i wanna change to other company.. do i need to notify the previous one that i wanna cancel or after one year it will auto cancel? if didn;t renew...

they told me is a agreement between them and the bike shop that bike still under installment must go back to the bike shop and do renewal....

 

and mitsui told me that my renewal insurance letter will be sent to my motorshop rather then me...

Does NTUC insurance include the $150 for p-platers? that time i ask, they say include $150 for what.....now i dont even know whether my insurance got include the $150. Or any NTUC insurer here that knows?

Bro, NTUC can renew less than a year and that is what they suggest to me previously when i first applied. They told me it will be better to renew the insurance with the roadtax. But the problem is i will still be under probation when my insurance expires. Just a 20 days difference. So will anyone know that will NTUC still charge me $150 for p-plate? this is related to my previous post up there..

 

also NTUC insurance will be cheaper after 2 years of riding experience (inlcuding probation period) or what? or anyone know of NTUC insurance agent here in sbf who might assist on my doubts?

wah, like that they gang up with bike shop to jack up your insurance premium...

mine is NTUC, i have no problem to renew my insurance myself when my bike is still under hire purchase...

like that you have to pay extra to get the bike shop renew the insurance for you, sian sia..
