Any new cruiser for beginner in the market(class 2B)

Hi,

 

I am looking for brand new cruiser, class 2b . Brand, open for suggestion. Honda and Yamaha dont carry brand new cruiser under 200cc, so any suggestion? Your comments will be much appreciated.

daelim, overall maintenance, not so good, performance as compared to phantom, is it more inferior?

Other options are Suzuki Intruder 125 (dunno if got bring in anymore).

 

Also, Hyosung Aquila 125. I own one but don't ride anymore (got 2A). The dealer is in AMK Ind Park 2, I believe. The retail shop is facing AMK ave 3 (in the direction of Hougang)... just after the CTE flyover on the left, near the bus stop. Hyosung 125 is generally a below average bike for performance. It was really built for 250. But hot DAMN it looks good. People kept asking me what 2A bike it is. Even has a REAL V-Twin.

 

When I was looking for my 2B cruiser, I refused to buy Daelim and Phantom because they aren't V-Twin. Only V-twin 2Bs in SG are Shadow 125, Intruder 125, Hyosung 125, and I kind of remember there was one more, but dunno which one now.

The question is - you want chopper looks/stand out or you want performance?

 

Phantom is a good bike. Good performance, good FC, maintenance is easy, parts are cheap. Thing is it's not a V-twin, and everyone and their mother has one.

heard that there is a lot of problem with phanton bike. Is it true, i am not sure , any comments. I heard the phantom used up a of lube oil. true?

everyone wants best performance with best fuel consumption, best looking bike, stand out among crowd.

unfortunately u dont have much choice under 2B limitation.

and no point breaking ur piggy bank for 2B brand new bike

(havent seen any rider stick to 2B all the way).

 

want to get best performance ? get aprilia RS 125 and pay it's price.

want to get best Fuel economy ? read up fromhere.

Got ppl stick to 2B all the way... they are known as the "Ah Peks" Mostly riding Lao-K.

Hm, did we miss out the.... *cough* Modenas Jaguh? And I *think* Kymco may have some kind of "cruiser" also.

my fren just got a car for his work so he only ride when we meet up for kopi session.

 

i rode one for close to 2 yrs and no problem at all, maitenance very easy and the look of it is often mistaken for a 400cc bike cos of its built. can really mod to be very nice for a 2B bike.

 

He is looking for ppl to COI.. think one month $185 .. interested call me then i arrange for him to contact u
