If we are talk about wear and tear, eg oil leak , seal, O ring etc spoilt understand, there no product servicing free. A high end product which so call better than showa shld be rust free rite on the assembly.

what performance parts you have? we are taking about external components here..

 

Oh...like dat sori lah..used to play internal..the most of 'external' can be seen is fuel pump only lah. To consider external or not..complete carb kit..front fork and back absorber..just the spring, valve, spacer..other than that..chain...on road not much but mostly for off road. Mostly DIY except for cyclinder honeing to fit kits. Exhaust nothing much except silencer or muffler restrictor remover.

 

They are not cheap stuff...mostly imported or hand carried in..in the older days.

 

My say here is that this stuff really last and meet their claims for performance and most importantly..reliabilty.

The good from older days are of better build quality actually...even these days, Lasak also taste like they so call.."curry mee"...wa_lau!

 

Aiyah..its all about dollars at the end of the day lah..like one Malay guy..change back suspension every one year from LAB. He said its cheap and handle well...aslo can wack with it like performance shock like that..only cannot tahan_long 2 years the most..so what. He said he huying a new Showa, the money can buy about 10..to service a Showa..he can buy 4..LOL!...how long you wanna keep ur bike? Come to think of it...its quite a clever idea....LOL!

i mean, the shocks are not meant to rust till like this kind of s**t wat...

When it comes to chrome quality...US and Japs chroming are the most reliable...and Germany is not bad too. Not sure about Italy and this is the first time I've seen this..saw some Ducatti (sp?) condition also quite terok when rusting part is concern. S4 header also damn rust king...may be the Japs contracted China to cast their irons...LOL!...and knowing their mistake..the new Revo is Stainless steel now..just guessing lah.

Likely no use one lah..wasting stamps somemore. If its Spaghetti or Pasta soource...may be lah...LOL!

 

US and UK product may be la..like my Koni strut and Spring..they really backup their product.
