Recently i went to get my rear showa rebuilt,damping is good(just nice) but it bottom out easily compared to the first time i got my bike. Is it because the the nitrogen is not charge to the correct psi?. What i know during my downhill bike days,we pumped in more air (with a shock pump)into the rear shock if it bottoms out easily even with the correct spring rate.

How to know?.After hitting a bump,you shock will be like a pogostick(boing boing) and also traces of oil,on the shock shaft.

Looks cheon and likely is. I saw a new pair not too long ago. the SHOWA logo and sticker branding is not right. The origina is more plain and simple.

 

With reference to the new spec 3 in shop..don't look alike..and if I'm not wromg..I'm seeing yours come wit "posh" at the bottom end?..that thing is a 'disdaster' to your corner handling.

Cose my exhaust is scraping the high hump everything, afraid it might cause a hole... then must get a fullsystem...

Hi guys.. Need advise.. My spec1 showa suspension is getting weak. can feel the hard bumps when riding on uneven road with pillion. getting worse by the day. Does this means that i need to adjust my shock springs to a higher tension or do i need to service my whole suspension which is very costly. Will tightening the rear shock springs do the trick for temporary period???

Spoke to MEZZO today. The pic on the site is for Harley. CB4, has longer red spring, body is the same as the pic. It is rust resistant with the new coating etc etc. They giving some Christmas present also with the shock but did not say what, but from what I hear the freebies cost a lot too. Was also told that there are only a few shock left. 4 or 5 units, I think.

Now, they do not have this problem any longer. Every year thing improve. Why not go see the shock yourself. No point chatting and making conclusions....

claim warrenty? so the time frame to claim is over?

look, being a user + supporter of Bitubo products,

aint they gonna do something to my shock even though the time frame is over?

 

i had actually sent a mail to Bitubo and was re-directed back to SG dealer.

on SG side, i was told that wat can be done was to send the shocks body for chroming...

how am i gonna adjust my shocks as and when i need to if its really chromed???

aint they gonna get it replaced instead of chroming? :giddy?

means to say that it will rust some time in the near future?

ask urself, will u buy something that u know in future it will rust?

and posting pic of shocks for Harley and saying its for S4???
