As the topic says. I went in by 2nd link last nite for petrol and filled up the white card as usual. However when i reached the msia customs, they said in future there is no need for the white card anymore. They posted a notice just outside of the booth but it was in malay so i couldn't understand. Has anyone encountered the same thing? So is it true in future we don't need to fill up the white card cos i understand that the white card thing has always been the norm. Would like get more feedback.

my parents went in by 1st link by bus this morning. according to her, the officials told her there's no need for the white card anymore.

 

will have to confirm again when i go for my carbon clearing session. haha

I see. Hmm..then if its true maybe in future we can save the trouble of having to fill up the white card already. Cos i was quite shocked when the customs said in future don't need the white card anymore.

Not sure when the date started also. Went in on the 20th at 11+ and was told by the msia custom in future dun need the white card anymore. Can save the hassle.

looked at the paper they post at the stamping counter they say started on the 19 jan 08 ... guys noo need white card but muyst still stop to stamp hor ... don't later ba long long vroom past there ... hehe ... cheers to all ... and ride safe.

it was said that it started on 19 jan.

all passages to malaysia.. 1st, 2nd, air , train. but do keep spares just in case.

only tourists that are on visa need them.

Me too, in fact, i just came back. - no white card needed.

 

i agree 100%, not only about writing/printing, constantly going out to collect more white cards to ensure i have healthy supply is a huge pain and a waste of time.

Maybe the got conflict with the printers or the customs owe money then printer dunt wanna print liao.....now looking for new printers or settling issue thus "TILL FURTHER NOTICE"

writing isn't.

 

its when you run out of it and try to enter by 2nd link at night. walked towards the embarkation card center and find no one insde to provide you the fix. then you walk towards one of the counters with your full face and scare the customs official just by asking for a card.
