anyway we starting work on 14th of May, so got 3 days for us to travel around. Here's our ride for the next 3days! USD$300 for 3 days including insurance. Seats 11 but we sharing among 8 of us.

So off we went...to Williamsberg in Virginia to look for factory outlets. It's about 60miles away and we horlaned. Took us about 3hrs to reach instead of 1.5hrs.

There's brands like Reebok, Fossil, Oakley, Polo Ralph, Guess, Gap, Converse, Nike, Vans, many many more. Not all are cheaper than SG, but most are. Fossil watches are going for USD$19.99 to USD$39.99, compared to SG which is about $135. Oakley boardshorts around 20-25 here. I think Guess is cheap cos the girls bought a lot of Guess products.

 

Today still unsure what to do..probably going north carolina for sightseeing. :cheeky:

nway tis yr ntu's NBS very difficult to get it

cos competition v.stiff, results must be superb

as for engine, i cant comment man, seems like those wif beta results opt for nus engine. den ntu common engine last time known for being the dumping ground for the rest of the students whu got bad grades (Cs and Ds oso can get in). As for academics, ntu more practical compared to nus more theoretical. Now duno whether isit still d same liao.

erm.....usually NUS engin will be slightly tougher to enter than NTU engin, hence competition at NUS will be tougher. Me and yongtong have this theory that since ntu is less competitive, you stand a better chance to score As and be at least 2nd upper honours..but you must be very disciplined to study. I'm literally dian di now at NUS...Zzzz...still trying to climb up the ladder.

 

And i'm very surprised that you cant get into business! wtf man...competition so tough now?? wat you get for GP ?

and also..i think whether you get a NTU or NUS degree doesnt make much difference in singapore...i think companies would be more interested in the kind of honours you are getting.

ya.nowadays on average the whole cohort of alevel students do beta ma

NBS is very competitive tis yr

gt a frn's frn AAB oso cant get in

so i guess they are also looking very much into the GP grade tis yr, and also the subjects that d candidate took in alevels. whether they are relevant

e.g i tink math n econs are essential.

they tok cok 1.

grossly overestimated. esp in this para where they said Big4 newbie accountant pay range from 2.8-3.2k..bluff whu sia..all std get 2.2k nia with exceptions for 2ndupper or 1stclass hons students slightly higher, prolly 2.4k ONLY.

see....ntu grads earn oni 2.2k. u earn 2.9k, 700 bucks more
