I'm looking a various 2b sports bikes. They are really quite alot to choose from.

Any ideas on what to get? Are yamaha tzm still in production? Is it possible to get a brand new sports bike?

If you're looking at the Yamaha TZM because of the size of the bike, look also at the Aprilia RS125, y2k or 2007 models, or the Cagiva Mito. :thumb:

my fren got see a yamaha r125 when he's oversea. well, he simply said that... "it's really kinda small size. and one look, you'll know it's a joke."

bro,

- choose the best looking class2b sports bike IMHO - aprilla RS125 if you're unwilling to wait and don't mind the high maint cost

- choose kawa kips if you're unwilling to wait and don't wish to spend a lot on maint

- choose SP if you're unwilling to wait and don't wish to spend a lot on maint, and won't mind the risk of not being able to sell due to expiring COE

- choose CBR125 (not CBR150) and R125 and hyosung's 150cc sports bike if you're willing to wait since we don't know when they'll be coming to singapore and won't mind the depreciating cost risks that come with 1st hand bikes

personally, i would advise SP or kips. the price of these machines are low, which is the most important point. afterall, most of us will upgrade to class2a. and the bike we'll be selling to are new class2b holders. and most of these class2b holders are students or NSFs who don't have much money to begin with. and we diedie must have to sell our class2b bikes, or else no money to buy our preferred class2a bikes. and we can't sell to shops, else kenna karate chopped.

i won't recommend first hand purchase. i really cannot tahan the period where you have to run-in your bike. it's torture to just travel 60km/h or throttle to 5000rpm on expressway.

save the money and spend it on a high class. your fun may begin with class2b. but your real fun begins at class2a.

guys, this is my personal opinion. pls do correct me if there's any mistakes in my perception.
