valve loud sound , ting ting ting and at speed 100km/h loud sound as if air leak.

 

went to JB, tighten and adjusted valve settings RM4

today starting msian price go down

 

Rm2.70 become Rm2.55 effective midnight onwards

 

 

we wait for 16 Sept, once Anwar become PM

try to avoid yamaha engines from 1cc till 2000cc

yamaha engines always faulty on crankshaft bearing and also overhead cam after 45,000km always giving loud noise

 

if those ride slow then ok

but those like me who always tekan maximum then ignore yamaha engines

yamaha spark z

 

bike had two bad symtoms

 

1. loud noise coming from upper block , ting ting ting ting ting ting ting

2. gear 1 and then open throttle, loud noise , CLANG CLANG

 

went to JB

the foreman did adjust the tappet of valve and tested many ways to find the clang clang sound

 

after 2 hours of adjusting and testing the bike on road

 

finally conclusion made

 

1. upper block over head cam faultly

2. auto clutch from clutch plate bowl faulty

 

the foreman said i can ride the bike at top speed and no need to repair but i must bear the noise .

 

Now i decide to save some money to repair

my mechanic said yamaha bikes always fail in cranskshaft bearing and overhead cam

 

foreman said not serious and not danger but but but bear with the loud noise

that's all

 

it's good to repair so that it never effect other parts

 

some componenets can effect other parts .

it is like disease spreading

 

anyway, for the entire 2 hours troubleshooting he never charge me

then i have to push to bike shop

after 1km push bike

then 2 malay boys came with RXZ

they offered to push my bike

pushed for another 1km till reach bike shop

used blower to blow water trapped in between coil and spark plug

then bike can start

this is Malaysia

5:50pm - 6pm 3rd visit after bike wash cannot start

 

Camshaft one set Yamaha Genuine - $45 from Autocycle centre

Connecting rod one set Yamaha Genuine - $55 from Autocycle centre

Total $100

 

Air filter Yamaha Genuine – RM25

3x starter clutch bosh local brand – RM20

2x bearing crankshaft – SKF brand – RM70

2x valve tappet arm rocker- local brand of SRE Yamaha model – RM36

2x Valve seat local brand - RM16

4x clutch damper rubber local brand – RM25

oil seal gearbox LHS –RM8

Auto clutch bearing one set local brand - RM45

Service charge – RM120

Total RM 365

 

Adjusted and tighten handle bearing and nut/bolt.

 

Wash bike RM6

 

Total RM230 + RM365 + RM6 = RM 601
