no helmet can protect the wearer from any foreseeable impacts. however, for max protection, the helmet must be of good fit and the retention system must be securely fastened to retain the helmet. The helmet when fitted and retained should not be removed easily..

Nolan 101 is pretty good. A bit heavy but quite comfortable. Removable insides so can wash

nolan 101 is significantly cheaper than Shoei and Arai. so might be regarded as a good option. it is currently retailing at S$330-340

LazerHelmets are pretty good also. High end / competition is around $400-$500. As for middle range is around $300-$400 and for the low end will be $200-$300.
