as far as i know , tyres that are bulged or deformed results from improper maintenance of tyres . In other words , you never made sure often enough that you have enough/correct pressure ... and over time , the tyre loses its pressure and falls below the recommended lowest pressure for the tyre , the problem arises if you ride for weeks or even months on these tyres ... thats why it is deformed . I used to get deformed tyres in the past (especially the back) , but once i made sure once a week that i have the correct amount of pressure in my tyres , they never deform or like you say , bulge . hope it helps

btw, quality of tires also impt, dunlop tt900 r made in thailand and the quality of the rubber are horrible, i ever used them before and it had bumps as well...

my pirelli dc3 doesnt have any bumps for 1 1/2years... but as for tt900 it sure form up pretty fast... so guys, it would be good to invest in better tires, for instance bridgestone bt39ss or dunlop tt900 GP, both made in japan..

thign to note, tt900 and tt900GP. totally different!!

just remember this. the tire size will tell u how much to pump. like normal cub tire which is 80/90 n 90/80, add 100psi which makes it 180 front n 190 back. then if got pillion pple often the rear tire can pump to 200 or 205. under pump or over pump will result in wear n tires and deform of tires. so make it an effort to pump once a week.

just my 3 cents advice. hoped follow bikers will find it useful.

2004 - 2006 Yamaha RXZ

2006 - ? Suzuki Raider

2009 - ? Honda RVF

Sporty : 30 front 30 rear

Normal/pillioning : 33 front 36 rear

Numbers are in PSI

Tires are pumped when cold!!!

Hot tires reading are wrong!!!

Cry every time I get on my motorcycle.
