How long does it take to do one servicing...after 800km

 

guess still early. =) every 5k, engine oil, 10k, full service

i kiasu leh i 2500km i change liaoz cos u can feel the gears not smooth liaoz.

The owner's manual indicate servicing and oil change every 2500km. For 4 stroke engine it is better to change engine oil regularly.

How long does it take to do one servicing...after 800km

The servicing itself (for routine maintenance) takes abt 10-15 min only. If ur timing is bad and u go at a time when many other bikes are being serviced, then gotta wait for quite some time lor .....

That's correct. But Universal actually advises us to change every 2K km.

Bro, dun wait till 4K km then change EO lah. Pulsar uses 1L of EO nia. I use Maxima Maxum Extra 15W50. $21 from Racewerks (same lane as Universal's head office-cum-workshop)

Mine 34k KM but that was two mths ago readings....Yup speedo kaputt but before that batt died...been kick starting since early may

1st oil change Universal's Mobil @ 621 km. 2nd Oil change Maxima Semi-Syn blend @ 2,284 km

 

Before the recent oil change 55 kmph already feel strong vibration, now the vibration only set in after 80 kmph - kudos to good EO!

3/4 tank rule only applies to class 3 leh... if bike must check I think immigration will be dam busy. some bikes don't even have fuel meter

Got a little problem. Help!

Recently when bike move off initially, loss of power kinda like no fuel was felt in every gear during throttling.

But after riding for a while approx 15 to 20min on expessway, the problem goes away but same thing happen when leaving for home at end of day.

Anyone had the same problem, can share some solution?

 

hi, ur bike parked under open air? maybe kena rain. if under shelter, check ur spark plugs and air filter.

 

Did a check my plugs and air filter, was ok. So went down to Universal for servicing and inform the mech my problem.

 

He ram the throttle and can hear the sound not smooth sia.

Wash and clean the carb + tuning. Engine was singing swee swee soon.

I only have that kind of relay for my electronics circuits. but I can use 2 common NC relays, those that looks like the relay for horn, to do the same thing.

 

 

I have actually bought the relay from limbat. but he gave me a NO relay instead of the NC relay. will be going back to his shop change to the one that i need.

 

I have taken apart the bike and check the wirings, it can be done but need to cut the original wires and connect them to the relay.

Anyways i change my EO every other week, since i ride my bike hard, loads of the time.
