I am very curious, the RXZ belly pan will fit just nice on the BAJAJ? is it easily installed or I need bring to the bike shop to do le?

I've posted a few pics of the belly pan on a RXZ & on my Pulsar below for comparison to show the mods made.

(1) Top front of belly pan was cut to get rid of the 2 grooves that were supposed to be aligned to the 2 down tubes of the frame cos position of Pulsar's pipe is higher & more forward compared to RXZ's.

http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/2205/dscn1221jl1.jpghttp://img72.imageshack.us/img72/5448/dscn1214eq1.jpg

(2) Modified brackets were required to fix the belly pan in place cos the mounting holes didn't align.

http://img329.imageshack.us/img329/4670/dscn1219eu7.jpghttp://img329.imageshack.us/img329/7955/dscn1223ld3.jpg

http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/1083/dscn1220rd5.jpghttp://img243.imageshack.us/img243/6038/dscn1222bk8.jpg

If u use S4 belly pan, more cutting is required as it's longer and gets in the way of the Pulsar's main stand.

I recommend the Indonesian one. Better looks & fit cos custome-made for Pulsar :thumb:

Can you tell me more about this product? My bike has completed its first year. If it's advisable for me to purchase this product to maintain its performance and life of the engine then I don't mind getting it. How much?

This boils down to your personal preference. Some pros and cons listed as below:

Pros:

- Improved acceleration

- Deep bassy roar

- No need to replace air filter; only need to 'recharge' the K&N filter every 10k

- Improved fuel efficiency (theorically. real life only some bros experience it)

Cons:

- Have to cut the air filter box or custom make a bracket in order to install the filter.

- Low chance of engine choke (very low, only happens when water gets into the filter

- Might lose top speed (if not tuned properly)

Price : ~ SGD$50 (have to import, singapore dun have)

You have to ask yourself, do you really want the extra acceleration? To achieve best results, it is highly recommended that you:

- install K&N filter

- install better spark plugs (at least a platinum)

- change jet size to 125 (stock is 110)

- get a very good mech to do tuning (poor tuning will result in LOW FC and lousy acceleration + top speed)

Maintenance is really cheap. 1litre of engine oil for every 2500km. a pair of tyres (normal type tubeless) is at most $160. parts.. im not too sure but i have been riding for 1.5yrs.. so far all available.

2nd hand ones (analog) cost abt $3.5k. digital ones maybe more. not too sure..

i changed at universal b4, cheapest pair is $130 only. the ones tat u saw on my bike in sch last time. u were disgusted with my tyres remember? :faint:

No more regrets.

Bros,

As you all know our stock headlight is pathetic. Anyone knows what are the possible upgrades we can do? HID is bright but what about the legal issues? Any other possible lower cost upgrades.

Bro,

I think not only casing will melt. If wire insulator melt lagi worst. you might get short circuit.

Btw is HID illegal on our bikes?

Anyway UG3 is using HS1 bulb right? Can change to other type?
