Dun forget to write a review ..... :cheeky:

OK. I will try to write a review on it. I will start to measure how is the FC is going after tonight Fuel up. But it takes me about 2months to finish 1 tank. If using the Broquet with additional milage, I going to need 3 months to finish my tank wo! That means I only need to fuel up 4 times a year liao! HEHEE..

So far what I have observer is that when I touch 68km/h, my engine dun scream so sharply. I will not be able to try the upper end yet since I have not finish my run in. I only have 400km milage on my bike le..

I also observe 1 more thing, the bike seems to sound more bassy lo.. Actually I like the sound..

From my previous experience when I was using Broquet on the BMW GS1150, there is only 3-5% more distant I can travel on NSHW. But there is quite a big difference when comes to performance lo. I was touching 180km/h and the engine still sounds pretty smooth. Before the broquet, my engine starts to pull back a bit at 180km/h.

Will try to write more review on it.

I'll show u the way to JB Ah Boy but we'll just ride pass the shop cos it's already closed by that time. Then we'll proceed to Bapok Lane where the shops close at 3 am.

Maybe I must go change more $$$ liao.

Wat do u wanna buy, man?

:btw: weather forecast for JB says thunderstorm in the morning, rain in the afternoon but fair at nite. Knowing the condition of JB roads, u guys sure u wanna go for bike wash?

I have a question. For EO, I was told that BAJAJ PULSAR is better to use 15W50 Semi-Syn oil than use Fully-Syn oil? The bike shop says thicker Engine oil will give the bike better protection?

BTW, good news.. I found a place to custom make the K&N Filter so that I do not need to modify the holder. Since the original filter is just a square, they can fdmove the form on the stock filter and customise K&N filter to wrap around the existing air filter.

Manual recommends 20W50. For tropical climate like ours, the 1st no. doesn't matter cos it's meant for temperate climate (the 'W' stands for 'winter'). So as long as the EO u use is _ _W50, it's fine.

But since u're still running-in ur bike, it's actually better to use mineral oil 1st but change at shorter intervals. Then upgrade to semi-syn, followed by fully-syn.

I think u got the wrong idea here. The prob is not the K&N filter in relation to the stock filter box. It's the stock filter box in relation to the left-hand side panel.

Installing the K&N filter makes the stock filter box redundant. But u can't get rid of it cos it has the catch to hold the LHS panel in position. So watever installation method u use, u'll end up with the K&N filter inside the stock filter box.

Wat we want is to get rid of the stock filter box and yet is still able to lock the LHS panel in position. Hence Lancified's suggestion that we look for a motortiam that can custom-make a bracket/catch for the LHS panel to be locked in position.

I have changed mineral oil twice and the bike shop says that Semi-Syn to change at the next 1000km again will also be ok. He was telling me after 500km, the engine should be quite clean already. Currently I moving over to Semi-Syn for my next 2 oil change at 1000km. Perhaps when I hit 2500km then i will try Fully-Syn.

Well, the bikeshop told me that the K&N still have be used witht the Filter Pannel. He showed me the form with the plastic bracket which he say he can wrap the K&N around it. So let's see how it goes. He say he will find out and then tell me at my next servicing.

The shop fella I spoke to claimed that it's impossible to get the Maxia for RM440, let alone RM400. He said the price would be closer to RM500. Goof thinks he suka-suka quote. I think so too cos he seemed unsure with some of the questions I asked. E.g. when I asked abt the 33L Givi E33, he said it's not 33L, only the model no. is 33. Yeah rite! Then he realised his mistake when he looked at the catalogue. KNN!

They also do not have Givi racks with long side-arms. And their prices are similar to Sg prices. E.g. E33 without stoplight at RM128 (S$56). Universal selling E33 with stoplight at $60.

The shops there also do not have the long and heavy balancers like mine. For Givi box & rack, we didn't check with the other shops lah.

So, in the end, nobody got anything. But at least 1 gd thing came out of yesterday's trip lah, albeit by chance. Adriel went to the back lane to look at the bapoks and found a shop that re-wrap seats. So the 3 of us went to check it out. The shop fella quoted RM50 for the type of seat cover with dotted texture + extra cushioning. Takes 1h to do the job, shop is opened 6pm - 3 am FYI.

hi there from my humble experience, its better to use 20w50.Cause it needs thicker oil to reduce the vibration of the engine and its recommended by the manual. If you look closely and carefully there are pieces of black custom made rubber around the sides of the engine to reduce the vibration.I tried before semi-syn Castrol 15w50 long distance ride the vibration is horrible plus terrible but short distance pick up is faster. And when the engine gets really hot due to prolong ride the bike losts power.
