jus change my meters light.. and found out that it;s using 3 T10 led.. i got two only.. leaving the fuel with normal bulb.. :c

Finally..... I'm the Second UG3 in Singapore to have a remote start/keyless alarm . THe First is Iindavw.

 

If I NOT MISTAKEN.... even the UG3 in INDIA also dun have remote start ..

bros of bajaj need some advice, me speedometer is faulty, i can onle see the speed n mileage the rest r gone, is it a fuse prob or wat? went UM, chris told most prob need to change the whole thing, mine was changed to a new one just aft buyin for abt 3 weeks, due to the same prob! now since the warranty period is over i'm stuck!

as i said the prob seems to be never ending...

our bike has very old and new technology.

old technology, 1 fuse control everything so cant be fuse blow.

new technology, CDI and so and all electrical components

If Universal is unable to replace the speedo for no charge, maybe u can find someone to open up the speedo to check if the components on the speedo's PCB is properly soldered.

 

I remembered I read somewhere in the indian forums about this issue and someone mentioned about the soldering.

 

I have seen the mech open up my speedo to change its cover cause it's mounting points are broken. Inside the box is a PCB which somehow looks cheaply made to me.

 

It is not difficult opening the speedo, just that u will need some time to pry loose the cable connected to the PCB, before u can open it.

 

One note of caution. be careful with the needle assembly for the rpm, try not to let them fall out. they are very sensitive, according to the mech.

the noise ur referring to is the tappet......had exp the same b4...lus ask the local mechanic to adjust the tappet settings and all shud b fine...thx

I took ur advice. I bought the 16" T-wrench for $4. Then I think I will take Mr PULSAR BEE Advice but CASTROL from LABs for $5. He say that CASTROL run very nicely on the PULSAR even though $5..

 

I last did my oil change over a HDIY session with LINDA. So waiting for next oil change HDIY.

 

Every 1,500-1,800 km (can feel the difference entering this range of mileage)

Change myself at home, bought the spanner, $5 at the hardware shop beside Mah Motorparts.

 

Found myself a good deal - Cheap EO by Total S.A. (3rd top global oil company after exxon & shell) @ P.S. Carrefour Basement automobiles section look for

"Total S.A. 4T Racing" for $6. They claim to be "Synthetic based", i'm speculating it's Semi-Syn Blend. Racing 2T selling for $5. Feels much thicker than Maxima, hence better high-rev protection i feel. Fuel consumption so far no difference. 43.7 km/l.

 

Typically, my Pulsar starts vibrating at 5k RPM, which is about 62 kmph. Had to buy Fuel Additive to delay the vibration RPM till 80 kmph "Redex Fuel Additive" $6-$7 bought at Mah Motorparts. Feels like increased horsepower, lighter throttle load. Better pickup, better throttle response. Fuel Consumption same.

1. Bicycle meter (for the time function $20) from bicycle shop. brand is C.A.T.E.Y.E. (inspired by Adriel78/Nemesis_5k)

plugs have no extremely good ones if u really wan a robust combustion everytime, change plugs every 5k km. even iridium plug performance drop after certain time of usage. unless u r rich to dump $14 bux per pc for iridium after 5k km, go ahead... but after all 180 CC is 180 CC u can neva catch a 999CC bike la... so powerful for wat?

Ah Bee been using those EO for his R1 for a long time wo! Looks like he shoot very fast after using the EO.

 

Oh.. I think if I use better plugs, maybe can drag race with 999CC from 0 - 50km/h lo.... Hmm.. if I Denso, what model should I buy? Coz next HDIY wanna install it..So Denso I can use iradium or not? they say the new thing now is platinum plugs wo.. hehee..

Have u ever heard you can big BORE the bike to 220CC? Like buying the 220CC engine to mount on the 180CC body?
