mine still stock and now at 44,000km... its not a good tyre especially suring wet surface... once this current one 'botak' than i'll change to battlax

that is going to take a long long time.

the shop at lorong bapok know how to modify the rear sprocket? the 4 mounting holes dont align, if you want to put in an rxz sprocket.

Bajaj Pulsar 180 - UG3 (2007 - )

Suzuki GSXR-400 (2008 - 2009)

Piaggio Vespa GT 200L (2009 - 2011)

Yamaha YBX 125 (2010 - )

Yamaha FZ S1 '05 (2011 - )

It is not the sprocket from RXZ.

The mechanic said it's from a Honda Wave gear, but me not mech so just accept lo. But it fits well, no need modify.

my front i use RXZ but my rear sprocket i still get from UM..

lindaw once told me that the rear sprocket can use kawasaki sprocket since

our Pulsar is 'manufacure/design' by kawasaki.

anyway can double confirm on the rear sprocket. frmo which exact bike/model.

so need to buy those expensive sprocket from UM.

bro's there's a diff on the spoc for the new and old model, cos the rear spoc for the old model got 5 fitting holes, but new model is 4 fitting holes which pairs with rxz or wave i think, i did mine for 85rm, front 16: rear 43: DID heavy duty. thanks to paul the great!!

Bro Goof,

Me also interested in the 'O' ring. What and where is it and what does it affect?

oh actually my engine leak.. so must replace the 'o' ring. i think the one that hold the gap between your engine and the spark plug..

just wondering.... i just went for my final servicing before my warranty of 10000km expired..... UM sure changed alot of stuff for free...hahaha... especially the starter.... they also changed the diaphragm and the o ring for me for FREE.... The main problem is still my mileage.... i just cant get at least 40km/litres.. i only managed to get 34km/litres only after my full servicing... did the carb wash and engine clean and rinse... Bro Goofrider, i just wondering how actually did you get at least 41km/litres? i did travelled only 75 to 85km/h most of the time... seldom sped or whack my bike till max.... also UM currently use EO 10W50 Mobil Gold fully syn? is it too lean? also when did we need to change the chain and sprocket? thanks a million....:cheeky:

Bro actually its quite normal for pulsar to have fc of 40-45...For conservative riders can even get 50

i personally think that Battlax too soft liaoz very fast will have to change the rear...

those who used battlax maybe can shed some light on how long ur rear tire lasted u?

Mine's over 20 000 km now. The thread still looks ok.

my rear battlax last over 30,000km. With a patched up puncture too.

Ya same here. Luckily tubeless. Was able to ride home from Sim Lim to Bt Batok at 80km/h without me realising that I had a flat rear

Damaged my rear hugger tho .....

to get good mileage;

1. Chain is not loose

2. Engine is not leaking

3. Carb tuning

4. Correct pressure of tyres.

it should be your carb lah....

hit 20k a while quite some time ago. bike has a bizzare gear problem whereby if i shift to gear four either by going down one from gear five or up one from gear three, sometimes it doesnt quite engage, letting the bike freewheel untill i pull the throttle.

odd.

going to ask universal to open up my bike tomorrow. its quite dangerous when you expect the bike free wheels when its not supposed to. definitely not because of poor shifting technique either.

i believe might due to the EO.

i encounter it before, after changing EO, it seems ok le..

bt sometime still got some difficultily changing to N gear.
