hi there,

i ve been riding a pulsar version 3 for 8 mths...when i last went for eo change and servicing, i was told there is a leakage on the top of the engine..really dunno what happened but i tot maybe too much knocking...so may i know the speed and rpm you guys will hit before changing up gears?

thanks in advance for ur great help and advice!

UG3? My gear change is usually by 3.8k RPM. I avoid changing gear in any lower rpm so as not to stall it. As such my mileage for bridgestone battlax tyres is maintained at 42.95 avg, and 45.55 avg for stock MRF tyres.

thanks favetp! then i guess must be some other cause..since i change around 3.8-4 too..

the 3.8-4 apply only to normal 0 deg gradient normal roads only lol. steep slopes gnerally i travel slow on 2nd gear. whoa. when you bought your pulsar? FBB 3k+ ?

so far this bike didn't give me much of a problem, less some clutch slippage, and fuse blown after hazlight mod lol.

Just fixed my back flat tyre yesterday. Rode to work and home and to unimotors on flat back damn. Then this morning found a small screw stuck to my front. Luckily nothing. Wonder who have i offended these days..

oh no! please don't broadcast your own plate number on the net! may get sabotage! i'm not pro, the proest i personally know about bikes is lindavw. Next are Night_Hawk, N5K and PulsarBee also pretty bike-wise..

I typically change EO within the 1400-1800 km range - I try my best to keep the EO rating to a "G" Rating - see "API SG Certified" the "G" after the "S". The more closer to "Z" the better the rating. eg. there's a API SF rating for a cheap Unicorn brand of EO sold in LAB. not exactly cheap singapore brand i don't really trust. Some more the marketing model is MLM, like Amsoil.

hey people.. this is my very first thread on the forum...

just being curious... is the 200cc out in the market already..??

I read up that the features are more and advance......

Could anyone help me...

I know there's this kind of question being answered day in and out.. but i've been searching it .. all the 144 pages .. but still couldnt get the answer i've wanted.. as some is as dated long time ago...

and further more.. after reading and notice in the forum that pulsar encounter alot of mechanical problem... I'm having doubt on my first choice bike... now i'm confused and lost.. I've emailed david from UM.. and he said 1st hand bike for pulsar is 5k including the insurance... ( im around the early 20s.)

could anyone please aid me..?

Thank you.

Every bike have their good and bad. As long as you take care and service the bike regularly you should not have any problem. If you wack the bike at full speed all the time I can say no bike will last.

Notice that big c.c. bike seldom have engine problem. Its because the bike have not been stress to the limit. To travel at a higher speed the engine is less stress then the small bike.
