if i am not wrong, you are from India? In Singapore, our bike license is classify by the bike cc.

2B license = not more than 200cc

2A = not more than 400cc

2 = you are free to ride any bike you like.

oh mine is a second hand bike. but i am new to riding so alot of things dont know.

Well, 90% of the bike is made with low fuel consumption in mind.. What you are feeling and hearing is the vibration of the bike really.. the frame is not so stout a lot lot lot of vibration.. My digital speedo rubbed against it's edges so bad that it made the hole bigger and actually fell through.. universal mech had to screw on brackets for the speedo(for free!)

you feel like the engine is straining because, if i'm not wrong, most of the power is in the low rpms... by the time you reach 80 km/h, it's at the edge of the power band..

Nothing in the world compares to the feeling of raw power between your legs..... well, except maybe a pint of cold Coke.....

really? the same thing for me when I was riding my KR.. My KR was pampered with VPower but it was so worth it.. When I switch to cheaper fuel, can actually hear my KR crying.. lol!

yep.. toh guan road east.. sure there is one there.. they quoted me higher than Universal Motors.. 200 or 300 bucks more if i'm not wrong.. i wanted to buy there because it's more convenient to pay the monthly installments.. but when universal said can just transfer the money and then call them to confirm, i changed my mind..

200cc DTS-i model will be release soon by the Universal Motor.

Worth to wait a bit longer than to get the UG3 180cc old model.

It is better to get from the UM (Agent) => better after-sale service.

hey, i noticed that there are various models for pulsars. like the "UG". anyone can explain? i tried to search within the forums and have been reading through since page 1, (have yet to finish coz my eyes may buldge out). can anyone give a brief idea what it means?

Hi fellow bajaj pulsar riders,

will any of u happen to know whether this mount can suck strong n firmly onto bajaj pulsar's original windshield?

http://sg.auctions.yahoo.com/sg/i:Universal%20Rotatable%20Car%20Mount%20Holder%20*PSP%2FPDA%2FGPS%2FMP4:261712540

I am hoping to get it for my GPS unit and it must NOT fall off while riding (even over humps, holes, bumpy uneven roads). Cars can have it drop off then pick it up, but once drop off a bike..... you know what I mean. I know cars do not seem to have any problem with it but I like to hear from bikers.

Thanks

next time i sure want to drive a dirty rusty beat up old truck.. then paint on the tail-board.. I have claimed insurance on 99 tail-gaters. Are you the 100th? :cheeky:

The 'UG' is just part of the model name. It doesn't stand for anything. Just like 'RXZ'.

UG2 refers to ver 2 Pulsar with analog meters, while UG3 refers to ver 3 with digital meters.
