want to have a rough idea of it before i buy cos I'm thinking of getting Pulsar maybe in Sept or October.

parts is ready there at the agent, Universal motor. price wise all i can say, they 'monopoly'. If u want much cheaper parts, get someone you know from India to bring in for you.

 

you can actually use other brand parts to fix on the bike, sprockets, chain,

tyres, mirrors etc.

 

Using parts from other brands sounds good, meaning Pulsar is quote versatile with parts.

 

The part about getting someone I know in india to bring parts in will most likely be impossible as I don't know anyone from there....

Tank bag u can modify from S4 tank bra... nemesis_5k has already done one

Tank bra sold at universal is a 50% cover of the tank only. for more comprehensive tank bras, i think u need to seek sources from india to bring in for u.

2. To demonstrate how HOV is used and other safety aspects of riding

Any rider who wishes to improve safety skills. Must come with own bike (for practical riding portion)

Endlessloop has already written and shared in this thread one of the principle safety skills that he uses to keep him safe everyday when riding in Singapore, and in maintaining a zero-accident record for the past 11 years-Hazard Oriented Vision. Please read the HOV article first to maximise the discussion time. As HOV is a mental skill, it may not be obvious to others how you apply it when you ride, making improvements difficult. Our suggestion is for you to see his riding and commentary through radio sets of his application of HOV, and to compare the responses to hazards.

 

This is a free of charge, 2-part program.

 

Part 1-Theory

Endlessloop will speak on how he implements the HOV concept. You are encouraged to raise doubts and queries for discussion. We will also discuss any problems you have difficulties handling on the road. Riders are encouraged to share their experiences and knowledge. Part 1 should take just over an hour.

 

Part 2-Practical

Endlessloop will lead short convoys and apply commentary riding. You will hear him through radio sets. You will be able to see how he positions himself on the road, his riding speed, the type of spacing he keeps (see "cocoon of space" that he wrote in this thread) and how to find such spaces. This practical portion allows you to apply HOV yourself while hearing his application comparatively.

i saw the 200 also.... i mean beside the so call face-lift, 20cc bigger than 180, and bigger tyre is there any other things that different? how bout FC issit also same, or better or no good compare to 180..... im asking this because i just checked out at the bike shop and he quoted me 200cc version is 400 bucks more than 180... i dun really find i need that another 20cc more if basically most of the things is same.... any input from bajaj owner will be greatly appreciate...
